Thanksgiving Day Squirrel(S) edited

Woke up today bright and early to find this guy running a muck in our backyard bird feeders. It’s been a couple of weeks since my last take down, but Im off off work till Tuesday and have every intention of making up for the gap and getting to know my Pro Sport every day!

Looks like it’s gonna be a good day for squirrel gettin! HFT style.

Nice! I was out last night trying to get the bandits stealing my squirrel bait. Nothing came by besides a fat possum. Now I'm watching for the tree rats.

Are these rifles an under lever or break barrel? Looks like it has a sliding breech or something.

It’s an under lever where the lever is hidden under the stock to make it look like a standard rifle. Stunning!

Well I'm thankful for my turkey day squirrel too! Little sneaky slipped up and got caught at the bait station. Blasted him with a 15.89 hades going 925 at the muzzle. 32 yards out, dropped like a sack of hammers!

Nicely done. I did manage one fuzz tail today. Just took a stroll with the dog and ran intto 3 more prospects for the future.

Planned on hunting some red Squirrels today however, while pellet testing a new/used Beeman R1 something else landed on the wood pile. A couple more grouse for the season In the freezer.
