Jack makes a nice shroud; purchased 2 from him but he wasn’t able to assist me with the 600mm shroud so I adapted one of my FX shrouds and it fits perfectly. I use the FX shroud with the carbon fiber hand guard and the Huma Mod50; sound is backyard friendly.
I can’t wait to see how the Behemoth does in comparison to my adaptation. I really liked that the behemoth came with multiple length shrouds. So for someone that has multiple barrel lengths you can purchase one behemoth and multiple shrouds and be set.

The brown truck showed up today and I was able to get the Behemoth put on. I purchased the 600mm Tri-Lug and it fits and looks awesome. I was previously using a FX shroud with an adapter under the carbon fiber hand guard with a Huma Mod50; sound level was backyard friendly (sounded like a roofing nailer).
The Behemoth is a little more quiet and more compact than my “Monster”; Frankenstein was the doctor not the name of the monster. I definitely like the uniformity and of course, the quick disconnect. I will say that my initial chronograph readings had the Behemoth about 10fps slower but that would actually make since, since now the tri-lug is shorter than my previous setup. Regardless, 923fps for 44.8 FX pellets is very respectable and more than enough to dispatch any critters my way.

In other news, the new 470cc bottle from Francisco is awesome. I've just counted 6 full mags, 48 shots in regulation from 300 to 160 bar. That is with a .30cal 450mm barrel making 915 fps avg with 44.75gr JSB pellets. I think that's a pretty good shot count for a .30 at these power levels...

Does it clear the receiver and lock (without extended pin) when folded?

Holy Jebus - I've been spending some time with the LW 600mm .30 barrel I got a few months back and the Behemoth moderator.

First off - this is some serious power with the JSB 50gr!!

The Behemoth is doing an amazing job of keeping this quiet too. I am running the shrouded version with 4 baffle chambers and it is quieter than some of my 22 airguns running @ 30fpe. Very impressive mod.
