Just Ordered A Tuxing TXEDT033

Your saying I don't need to purchase a control box off of a 031 to convert the 033 to dig gauge and I also want to be able to input purge times? I just need a power supply for dig gauge. Tuxing isn't as responsive as they once was. I actually received the wrong compressor and just told them. I'll see what I can get for free.
Ordering the control box off 031 is the best and easiest. I was only able to purchase control box and gauge package, even though I purchased gauge on Amazon already. If I knew the voltage the gauge needed I wouldn't have bothered with the control box.

In short yes, i dont think you need the control box if you are willing and able to do a little electrical work.

I'm not above doing any kind of wiring but my situation is this 033 comp has a purge unit without anyway to program the timing like the 031 compressors dig gauge has.

When my compressor auto shuts off if I have pressed the purge rocker, which isn't marked, it will purge only once and release all pressure. It's a nice feature. For me to install the dig gauge and program the timing of said gauge like 031 model seems that the ecu or pcm whatever it's called, needs another chip or feature to allow the dig gauge to be programmed for timing of the purge.

I think this compressor is made up of different parts not available anymore. I can't find the same compressor anywhere that looks the same. The 033 they have now on Tuxing doesn't even have a purge unit pictured. It's over 950 bucks, why sell me this one for 800. Idk

The 032 control box has relay for compressor and transformer for 5v to power logic. I expect the 033 control box the be the same with potentially second relay for purge. I expect the 031 to have different transformer for higher voltage for the gauge. I think the digital gauge has the ecu built into the gauge to drive the sensor/lcd/buttons/timers/logic.

I suspect sergey1972 has a lot more mechanical electrical knowledge than me! I bought what I believe is the correct elec box from Tuxing and I'll see if that will work. It has about 10 wires coming out of it. Now I wonder if the harness is even included in the purchase, Its pictured but who knows. I'm not gonna spend the remainder of my life on this.

Yup. The 50/50 runs a little hotter but within reason. Waterless will run even hotter orangeokie.
The plastic piston rings will soften and wear faster if you go higher in temperature with straight glycol. Also, keep in mind we aren't checking piston ring temperature we are checking outside cylinder temperature, which is lower.
Actually the HP piston rings on the Tuxing 032 are powered metal copper and graphite for good wear at higher temperatures.

They probably are (since that's their claim) but they are using a high temp plastic as the binder. I only looked closely at the square box (062) rings and they looked like plastic with graphite. Bought a complete piston and it arrived with a defective seal. I had to install a new seal on it. I had to debur with a knife. They weren't hard enough for powdered metal. The twin cylinders may be different but not likely.

I put a male foster fitting on mine instead of keeping a hose on it. And I looked at the pcb, it was actually slid out of its box an inch, there is a stop end on box that snaps in and keeps the pcb in its place, it was off. Also the wiring is soldered to the pcb not plugged in like the replacement boxes show!

Hold on a second, your control module was like THAT just open? Both of mine are in a box, both as in my bad one and my functional one. Cancel that I've just learned to read English. "slid ouf of the box" Got it.

The printed circuit board(pcb) slides in a groove in the box sides. There is a stop end that snaps in place and holds the board up off the traces of the bottom side. It's stop end was off and the pcb slid out an inch. The wires solder to the board, no plug on this like the new ones being sold. I have now bought the correct board.

As I said before I purchased new from Tuxing, I'll say it again. 800 bucks. The same unit off Amazon is 1360

Sorry you did say you bought it new. It looks like you got some morphadite 031/2....hope you can get it all to work to your liking. Did you ever inform Tuxing of this and if so did they offer any options to correct it? New board and gage at no charge seams reasonable.
He got an 033 which is an 032 with the double filters and with the purge but mechanical gauge. The 031 is single filter with purge and digital gauge. All on 20% sale at amazon. Put in your cart and wait discount notifications.

I was buying the 032 model 220 volt, and paid for that. They didn't have it and sent me the 033 instead. I wasn't aware of it being a 033 till someone mentioned it. And to this day can't find another pictured as mine.

Now I have found an 033 but it looks like an 032. I just think they can't get there photos correct. I can't say I'm not satisfied, I feel I got a hell of a deal. it would've been 179 more for this model, so I saved that. I Loaded my cart on Amazon 033 model, and it was 1359 with tax, idk about any sale. And I would've bought the four year ext warranty on Amazon for another 100 or so. I would be looking at the $1800.00 four cyl Tuxing compressor before I spend 1400 on an 033 off Amazon. Again though you fellows keep mentioning discount, I guess it automatically gives the discount on Amazon once you pay. That's all I got

That is the same as mine except for the damn digital gauge.

The photos used on Amazon, Tuxing and Aliexpress can be very conflicting. The Tuxing I bought direct from Tuxing the 032. I too originally asked for 220 vac and after order they advised 110vac only available. Ok, no problem. At checkout you needed to advise Autostop or Autopurge ( a misnomer) and voltage. Autostop was a given. Autopurge was exact same except they added the solenoid valve with associated tube connections and wiring/relay that picked up the "non labeled toggle". You still got Autostop feature, but now at anytime you could activate the toggle and the system would automatically purge. It was still called and labeled as 032 but with Autopurge feature. Gage here was Analog design with dial to set Autostop at selected pressure.
The 033 was different in that now you have a digital programmable gage albeit only Time based.
032 Autopurge you were the timer, 033 they needed to add the logic and module for you to set a timer.
Today, Tuxing does not ask Autopurge or Autostop when selecting an 032 model. If you want Autopurge, you must select the 033 with digital gage.

I never seen the 033 with the programmable gauge on Tuxing. I looked for the 033 on Tuxing when I bought the 032, they sent me the 033. Alisha says the digital gauge won't work with mine because the hole isn't big enough for the gauge to fit in! They are very confused. I went to pay for the correct box yesterday for conversion it went from 30 to 159. I'm not paying that much for an electric box.

When I bought my 032 ( a little over a year ago) the 033 was not an option on the Tuxing site. Your choice as I mentioned at that time was 032 Autostop or 032 Autopurge. If you somehow checked out with Autopurge, then they would supply the analog gage with pressure setting shutoff and the single solenoid valve pre-wired to unlabeled breaker for customer control of purge at will.
For the purge cycle. If you bought their box and incorporated the digital gage you would be able to setup a Run time before purge occurs. I have no idea if then purge cycle is 1 sec 2 sec etc...
You could since you have the what I call ( the previous Tuxing 032 with Autopurge as they describe and still have on the writeup on there web site for the 032) but an adjustable timing relay that will bring power to the purge solenoid when timer times out. You will then need to deactivate it with the unlabeled rocker switch OR modify the logic board for an adjustable timer on/off circuit.
I never leave my compressor when filling so for me It would be an issue and I don't fill bottles.
I don't understand why Alisha responds like this perhaps she does not understand communication?
The compressor I hope will serve us both well for years to come🤞

Yes, right hand doesn't know what left hand is doing. Digital gauge is same size as mechanical gauge (at least all the gauges i currently have, 2 mechanical 2 digital). Got the shipment of control box and gauge, missing control box, they are sending control box.

Control box has 2 relays as your prior picture, 1 transformer to power gauge. Mechanical gauge uses 5vdc. Digital Gauge uses ??Vdc. Digital gauge has pressure transducer and timer electronics. The 159 is an offer they made me as well (purge valve, control box, digital gauge). Too big an upsell.
