More power to em, I guess... Maybe they'll sell some decent laminate grips that dont cost 100 bucks a pop.
Saw a black pepper laminate grip for the FX and thought I 'had' to have it until I saw the price.

I barely trust my FX's with that many o rings, no way I'd trust it to China QC...

Ant patent infringement here? Any new idea stolen? Anything other than what has previously been invented like Carbon tank, sidelever, plenum, shroud, trigger.....anything stolen? Another of many black, modular looking guns. Similar appearing to the x gun, apparently, but who had disassembled one? X gun owners so eager to criticize anything they perceive as a threat to their God of guns. In reality, the market will separate the pretenders so just let it.

II were to design a medium range, air to air missile with beyond visible range, it would certainly look like an AIM-120 AMRAAM! Some would say I copied, I'd say I did what works.

Hey it looks like we found Alpha Wolf Airguns' AGN account :ROFLMAO:

Chillax with your super ardent defense of what is a pretty blatant rip-off. It's not so much that people are defending the Impact in particular - if the OP posted a video of rifle that is an obvious knock-off of a Leshiy 2, Alpha Wolf or some other well known rifle, people would still rip on the it being a copy of that particular gun. It ain't just about the Impact.

@Rohmpm In your original message you seemed pretty upset. Is “Alpha Wolf” your company? I don’t think people are ripping on it unjustly. It’s not inspired by the Impact, it’s a clone. They literally didn’t even change the “power block” name. I’m all for iterating on design, that’s literally how technological progression works but they didn’t even try.

@yenniedn Looks like we had the same thought lol

Yeah, I saw what looked to be his original rant that was either deleted or heavily edited - it was a lot angrier.

Anyways, Alpha Wolf Airguns appears one of my peeples in the mother land that is doing the ripping off as well. Here is another one of his videos where the etching on the rifle says "FLACON X" . . . goddammit blatant typos are a big pet peeve for me so this is giving our people a bad name for multiple reasons!

I would not put my face anywhere near one of these rifles because I'd be thinking that it's literally a ticking time bomb cobbled together by one of my Vietnamese brothers in a dusty garage somewhere.

My "TOOLS" are just that. I buy QUALITY from reputable dealers who truly back their stock. I take care of them. adjust them to my needs, only make necessary modifications and use them for pests and enjoyment. I'm for rubber grips and parts and pieces that stand up to a little weather, abrasion and knocks for my TOOLS. I like beauty but my best hammer is the one dad gave me after he retired it. I learned about high pressure air as a kid from my dad. Only the best fittings. micro line, gauges and a medium speed compressor that doesn't fill to quickly. Slow and steady is safe and wins the race. All my fingers intact, vision protected. I follow my check list. I saw a fella Airman in the air force in Nam, he had a little drink, got in a hurry, ignored his checklist. Mailed him home in a box with a 300 psi tire and wheel pieces as part of him. I knew him by name and he always seemed pretty good 'cept that one time. You will seldom get a " DO OVER" WITH THE PRESSURES WE USE. INSPECT YOUR HOSES AND ALL CONNECTIONS BY MOVING A PIECE OF NEWSPAPER AROUND THEM. LEAKS CAN EASILY BE SILENT AND WILL ALWAYS BE ABLE TO CUT, BLIND,AND INJECT AIR INTO YOUR BODY WITH BAD RESULTS. THE ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGE WE KNOW FROM THE FEW BRAVE SOULS WHO HAVE POSTED PHOTOS HERE ARE DEVASTATING. Stay safe and enjoy yourself, family and friends. Spring and Summer will soon be here. Well that “Impact Scan” topic that everyone thought was so cool got put to use. If you’ve been on this forum long enough you will see random requests about the inner workings of certain guns. A good many members are smart enough to not play along. It’s no different than the topic about the windows that got supposedly shot out by an airgun. Before you respond, think.

"I just did what worked"......

No surer affirmative defense to an allegation of patent infringement has ever been devised!

That is a blatant copy of an FX product, and I do not give a wharf rats patootie how you phrase it, disguise it, or how many buzz words you apply to the conversation.

Your defense of said product is an indicator of duplicity.

Heavens no, I would never be foolish enough to manufacture an airgun, especially in the United States with liability laws. In fact, I designed a couple parts that I would not manufacture but am glad others did. I've designed/made a few very good items I have not shared, yet like a reed valve silencer. Mind you, I built and sold thousands of. motorcycle related items and just am not enthused to embark on that again. What I am saying is that no one is reinventing the wheel here. Manufacturers are just piecing existing designs in new packages. I used to build most of the titaniumconnecting rods used by Team Suzuki, Vance and Hines and numerous other racers. They were H beam rods, similar in design to Carillos because that design yielded a serviceable product. I didn't wine when Honda and Yamaha started building ti rods. In fact, I was a major supplier of ti parts for Yamaha race teams and retail,. Fast By Ferrachi sold thousands of my parts in Europe. Often it is best to be the firstest with the mostest

Until someone has one in their hands, we don't know that it truly exists. I ALWAYS wait for an item to pass the test of time, exactly why I do not have a Vulcan 3.....yet.

efused to manufacture but am .. glad others did
