Where are all the classic pcp's?

This is where I fall short in understanding. There have not been any advance in industry as far as I know and air is still air..
No advances as big as say black powder to smokeless or all lead to jacketed lead bullets, but I believe there have been advances. Seems to me (not that that’s saying much) most advancements have come through efficiency, a ssg being a good example. The other advances in my mind would be handling more pressure without costing way more. That also lets you get way smaller without giving up much. Hell look at the Edguns or a Huben, there wasn’t anything like that until a few years ago.
Not arguing my point just giving my perspective on the subject. I love the old guns and will have an Fx tarantula or a Logun one of these days but I’m not expecting that gun to keep up in everyway with the new guns, maybe I’ll be surprised.

Hard to beat the quality on some of the 90s and 2000 PCPs. I've still got 3 Falcons, 2 FX Tarantulas, 2 Theoben's and some BSAs. Outside of DAQs and AA there aren't many all blued steel and nice walnut PCPs being produced.

My unregulated Rapid MK2 in.22 and Tarantula will go toe to toe with my Prophet at 100yrds.

I must be a freak. I have a sportsmatch gc2, a few and styers, daystates,AirArms, Ripley etc. The old stuf is gold

A recent thread about a Falcon FN12 has got me wondering where all the "first generation" pcp's are because I hardly ever see them come up for sale. By classic first generations I'm talking about the Titans, Falcons, AA300, BSA (Superten), Daystate (Harrier, Huntsman etc) and more.
The people that own the rifles you mentioned, are too busy shooting and enjoying them.

I ordered that stock just for the opertunity to meet Martin Rutherford...I lived in Tennessee at the time about an hour from his shop...got to know him and David Slade quite well when I lived there...I paid 350.00 for that stock about ten years ago and picked it up in person. I keep that gun at a different property, I'll take some more pictures next time I'm there. Hardly ever shoot it don't want to scratch the stock...lol.
