There is really something in it! ONLY if You are shooting perpendicular to the ground and towards the center of the Earth. In North emispher water flows clockwise when you are letting it go from where traped ( in a sink or in a tub).
In South emispher water flows counterclockwise when you are letting it go from where traped ( in a sink or in a tub).
Barrels (that I know) make the projectile to rotate always clockwise. That seem to be natural if they will be shot in the north emispher following nature.
Would a barrel that is going to be shoot in the South emispher make the projectile to rotate counterclockwise?
Any one knows something about this?
Thanks.
I think its like a propeller , it doesn't change anything ! this is a funny topic !!!If you are worried, just turn your barrel around...
The angle of a propeller is what make the boat going forward or rear. Take water infront and push it to the back. Same as a fan with the air. The fan take air from behind and send it to the front.I think its like a propeller , it doesn't change anything ! this is a funny topic !!!
You are the first airgun shooter I have heard to have had that effect. You have to seriously consider ammo weight when shooting at the time of tide! If You use too light of a pellet/slug, moon will pull Your projectile into the space!
the point was turn the barrel around and shoot through it from the other end ! like a "prop"on a airplane you cant just turn the prop around and expect it to move air in the opposite direction ! but this is all fun and funny stuff ! i hope no one get all serious about this thread ! its just for fun !!!The angle of a propeller is what make the boat going forward or rear. i guess we'll have to cut a hole in the ground just to see?Things don't rotate a different direction in the southern hemisphere, the observer is witnessing the rotation from the opposite side, or from under, not above.
