GX CS4 compressor

Are there any significant differences between the GX4 and the Omega Trail Charger? Seems like a budget Trail Charger based on specs and appearance.
The gx4 has a bigger motor and temperature sensor wired to the control while the trail charger has actual support. Bought a used trail charger to give to a friend. Needed the high pressure hose replaced inside. Todd shipped in a matter of days, no problems no issues. The gx4 looks like an upgraded version of the trail charger. Hope this helps.

Interesting. I've had Todd help me out as well, he's a good guy and you'll be glad he's around if you ever need him.

Think of the Trail Charger as a GX-CS3.5! LOL! It is water cooled and has a lot of the same features as the CS4, but as pointed out above, the CS4 has a larger 350W motor and is a 4 stage compressor capable of a max fill of 400 BAR/5800PSI. The Trail Charger's max fill is 300 BAR/4500PSI. Oh, and the CS4 is a good bit less expensive!

S

Tried buying the cs3- they are not shipping to UK.
Have you tried contacting them to see if they have a European Warehouse they can ship from? It was my understanding they were only shipping the CS4 to the U.S., but the rest could be shipped overseas. They responded to me pretty quickly when I messaged them through the FB Page.

Not on social media mate ! Will try again though
I heard back from GX, they said you should be able to order the CS2 and CS3 from their website. The CS4 is not available in the UK, but they said both the CS2 and CS3 are in stock for shipment to the UK.

If you are wanting the CS4, you may have to wait until it's available in the UK, but no telling when that may be... Here was their response:

"Please ask him to purchase from ghe GX Pumps webpage. We will deliver the goods from the warehouse in Europe. He will receive the goods in 2-3 days."

I'm loving my CS4 got it plumbed for nitrogen on the intake side, filled my 580cc avenger from 3k to 4k in like 3 minutes, topped off my 6.8l tank from 3300 to 4200 in about 20 minutes and its so quiet and cool running

why do you need the compressor for nitrogen, isn’t it already in a high pressure tank?

I'd love to see a picture of your set-up and how you did it!

I use the compressor to bring the nitrogen up to the pressures needed for our guns and never have to exchange a tank with 3000psi in it.
That and NO WATER NO OXYGEN NO CO2 just pure DRI inert gas no oxidizers

Is your nitrogen tank feeding the compressor at full pressure, or do you have a regulator to reduce the input pressure to the compressor? Just curious if there would be any harmful effect of force feeding the compressor? Sounds like a good way to exctract all the nitrogen from your tank and prolong refill intervals.
You would regulate down to 10 psi or so. If you force-feed the compressor you will overload the compressor and potentially create a dangerous situation..

I regulate the nitrogen down to about 15psi thru a 1/4" hose for the cs4 the cs2 gets about 10psi I also feed a tuxing twin about 20 psi all get 1/4" hose fed. The specs on the cs4 works out to about 23 cuft hr ie .388lmp pump capability
