Somewhere here or out in the vast caverns of the Web, I saw a comment that Hawke scopes with one-inch tubes are not springer rated; you need a 30mm tube.
I have a Hawke Vantage 207x AO with one inch tube and I reached out to Hawke a few minutes ago to clarify whether the scope is safe to mount on a nitro-piston Crosman. Here was the reply I just received.
Good Afternoon,
Thank you for using Hawke Optics. All of our product are all-caliber rated as well as springer airgun rated. This will work just fine with your rifle.
How would you rate my reply?
Great Okay Not Good
