Missed an income opportunity

Am I the only one saving feathers here and there?

Squirrel tails too. Mepps has had a program for many years where they buy them for their fishing lures. Might be able to get more from local shops that tie flies...I dunno. Would at least pay for the pellets

I wish I knew about this as kid, never too late though. Thank you for sharing.

I save a starling every now and then for tying my flies. I also like to use some quail feathers in my flies as well.
