So just got my Notos and purchased a scope for it. Well the scope mount/ring does not fit on the gun. What type of mount do i need? I am new to the whole air gun and scopes all together. All the air guns i had as a kid the scope would just mount. thx.

You'd think when you buy the air rifle they would say "Hey that won't fit this gun if that's what you bought it for."

Typically it’s up to the buyer or user to be aware of what type of scope mounts are required on any purchased long gun.

Would be nice if they did, but L. Leon is correct, it's up to owner to figure out. Forum is a nice resource to head off issues, don't hesitate to ask, many avoid headaches and wait time by asking up front about new purchases. WM
The computer system that logged your order doesn’t hold anybody’s hand. All the descriptions for the Notos state ‘picatinny optics rail’ and scope rings are described for weaver/picatinny or dovetail.
Order a set of the correct rings from Amazon and chances are you will have them possibly as early as tomorrow. Pay attention to the height. You’ll need high rings because of the straight stock on the Notos. Keep the dovetail rings, you can use them on another gun down the road… unless you ordered them from Amazon with free returns.
