the lifetime warranty on my truck is (according to Mgt in Detroit phone call) "we will make it go forwards and backwards as long as you own it ."
i plan to use it . , stopping is another matter as breaks are not drive train .

Yes I have and it all depends on what you want, f150 base has more tow capacity, longer wheel base, and better payload. Ill take a maverick over a ranger any day.

I can’t understand why people who have no need to haul cargo or thrash around in the woods buy these gas guzzling pieces of tin thar cost half as much as a car to produce and pay $60-90k. Must be an ego thing or a short johnson problem.

I dunno. My current truck is a Chevy 2500HD. My current commuter is a Toyota Camry. Zero issues with the Camry since 2011. Not a single dollar spent on it other than scheduled maintenance. It just runs and runs and runs. Can't quite say the same for the Chevy, unfortunately.

Really strong chance that my next truck may just end up being a Toyota
