Hey guys just wondering if any place sells H&N pellets IN BULK (more than 200/tin), specifically the 21.14 gr Match.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Haha I'd love an entire 55 gallons worth of pellets!!! Basically lifetime supply. I think I'd go through 4 hand pumps or at least 4 sets of seals to even make a dent in that pile lolEmptyTin_ Tim
we need to find you a wholesale place to get it by the 55 gallon barrel full.. then you can be overflowing tin Tim.. and have a great time shooting.. I heard that pyramid air buys in barrels and packages them in tins, but I think it was just a rumor.. I'm sure the factory fills the tins just like most factory do..
I wonder if they have like a case lot that could be purchased a bit less..
I've also done business with airguns of Arizona.. pretty good company too..
I've heard some people clean the pellets and lube them.. sounds messy.. any thing you do different, I just put in the magazine and repeat..

Just checked, I think this would be the winner. After looking at Pyramyd again it would be $44.67 for 800 pellets shipped w/2 day, but Field Supply is only $34.72 for 800 so definitely cheaper and more on track with the $0.04/pellet that I said earlier. FS is on sale so idk how much longer it'd be the winner though. And I forget what time frame shipping is but hey its free.I bought my last batch from
https://www.fieldsupply.com/airguns/ammo/h_n_sport.html. No tax & free shipping over $25. Packaging was great.
I'm Midwest so probably add a couple days to get to me. Yeah I wonder if they have a tiered shipping cost like X amount in pounds gets X cost cause you figure that's a very long way to ship lead! It's kinda hard to beat the 3 days that it takes for krale to my doorstep in SoCal. But you need to buy a whole lot to offset shipping cost.

I am running my regulator at 2600 right now, and I believe that the hammer spring is about 2.5 turns. I adjust it as needed, but I believe that is about where it is right now. I keep my regulator a little higher mostly because that was where I got the most consistent grouping, plus it lets me use a lighter hammer and have a lighter cocking stroke. I like to shoot pretty quick because most of my targets are moving. It will also let me use heavier pellets or slugs if I want to, but I haven't found anything that my Avenger barrel likes better than the Baracuda Match 5.51 dia head.Currently have my Avenger at 2k reg, 3.5 hammer spring, shooting JSB 18.13 gr at 896 FPS. Same tune should get me maybe 875 or something similar with the 21.14 if I take a guess.
you need to get a Omega trail charger .. I just use mine and turn the lube pot knob a click per yearHaha I'd love an entire 55 gallons worth of pellets!!! Basically lifetime supply. I think I'd go through 4 hand pumps or at least 4 sets of seals to even make a dent in that pile lol
I am wondering about H&N 21.14 Match because in this thread, @SkeeterHawk had great luck with his Avenger and those pellets. I copied him by having the Doux plenum and putting carbon fiber tubes in the shroud and making a shroud out of carbon fiber to stiffen up everything. Currently have my Avenger at 2k reg, 3.5 hammer spring, shooting JSB 18.13 gr at 896 FPS. Same tune should get me maybe 875 or something similar with the 21.14 if I take a guess.
I do not wash or lubricate pellets but if they are bent or anything obvious I won't use them.
and I would also like to know why in the world are airgun barrel just thin tubing.. and the spacers and shroud and now carbon fiber stiffing.. why don't they start using full size barrel.. big heavy and stiff like the Henry or better yet a sharps.. I also wish we could get a double set trigger like I had on a black powder squirrel rifle.. if you ever shoot double set trigger, you'd like one on every gun.. standard good trigger and then if you pull the double set it clicks and then your regular trigger is a hair trigger.. then you have a trigger for any use..you need to get a Omega trail charger .. I just use mine and turn the lube pot knob a click per year
Hey its the inspiration himself, SkeeterHawk!I am running my regulator at 2600 right now, and I believe that the hammer spring is about 2.5 turns. One thing to note is that there is a LOT of variability in the pellets. Even in the "match" version. If you really want to get to know what your gun REALLY likes, you need to sort these by weight and head size before you start the extensive testing. What I do is find a tune that is giving me about MOA with pellets out of the tin and then sort for head size and then by weight. You'll be surprised at how consistent the shots can be when you are using consistent ammo...but even out of the tin the Baracuda does better than anything else. Sort to get the edge
All of our products are packed by us, even those with OEM label, and never shipped in bulk. This would be very detrimental to the quality of the pellets and slugs (just think of the weight that would be on the bottom pellets in a bulk pack).EmptyTin_ Tim
