Is there such a thing as a dual mode gun?

Specifically, an air rifle that can use either an integral pump or a CO2 cartridge?

The reason I ask is because in one video, Jessica the Iguana Sniper is shown pumping a gun while she explains to the videographer that the gun can also use CO2, and magazines are available for it.

Did I hear that correctly? If she identified the gun, I missed that part.

Does the 990 use both pump and co2 at the same time? If not is that a thing? A break barrel with a shot of co2?
The 990 has a selector switch for either pump or co2 mode. If a co2 cartridge has been inserted, the switch is blocked from going to the pump mode. A co2 cartridge can't be inserted if the switch is in the pump mode. As a result, if a co2 cartridge has been inserted, you have to empty the cartridge and remove it in order to go back to the pump mode. The 990 has a reputation for being a leak waiting to happen. I cleaned and resealed both of mine and, so far, both are holding.

After digging around a bit, this came up:

American Tactical stopped making the Nova Freedom and went out of business.

Closest thing is Seneca Aspen.
The Aspen is the same thing but doesn't come with iron sights like the freedom. Bet she's not using it anymore as the pump goes out and the check valves will start to leak.

Several owners noted that problem. I’m in no hurry, so I’ll keep an eye on whether the manufacturer improves the gun’s durability.

At my size, it might be too big or too heavy for me to use, or to carry much, anyway.
