Huben GK1 sights: open or optics?

It has open sights. It is significantly more powerful than the ataman ap16. Also semi auto. Kelly at crazycoolairguns should have them soon
any information on them, I had seen the evinix viper though..
any information, price, 22cal? shot count, size and weight?
thank you

I'm super happy with the Holosun red dot I installed on my HW44, so I will move it to my GK1 (when I receive it :))
how do you like your hw44? is it 22 caliber? what is the shot count like? is your moderator removable? I read that there's a lot of plastic in them.. plan on keeping the hw44 or moving on..

I guess since I don't use scopes I don't understand why one is needed for a pistol.. yes lots of times I wish I could get that target larger for long distance rifle and especially if I am by myself and want to know exactly where I hit.. but besides my eye issue, seeing 4 cross hairs and not knowing which one or if any of them are right.. I couldn't shoot running target.. and well I just don't know how you go between say 10-59 yards and then long range, 100+ yards.. I know how to do that with open sights and adjustments and hold over. but some of the distances I have shot in the past if I was set up for 50 yards or less than it would be 30 ft low at long distance and I have also had a cross wind and my lead holdover was around 30 ft.. so when I did use scopes they just didn't have enough adjustment and then trying to get them back to zero for normal shooting was like rezeroing a new scope on its new rifle.. but I'm guessing that a lot has changed in 10; years since I had scopes

I have stated this before, but will repeat it again here. I did extensive testing of different sights when I acquired my first PP700SA. That pistol, once all the leaks are sorted, is super. I get 40 shots from one air charge and it is very accurate out to 100 meters. The trajectory of the pellets is quite loopy, as all air pistols are. So using any sight that restricts field of view is unacceptable because of the loopy trajectory. Others complain about the target area a dot sight occupies, but it is irrelevent, because a shooter's hold is not better than 2 MOA in any case. I have tried scopes, magnifying red dot sights, different open sights and reflex sights. Nothing outperforms the unmagnified reflex sight because of field of view and no loss of target view when using hold over or under required because of the loopy trajectory. Hold under may be required caused by sight height over the barrel line when shooting at short distances.. The only disadvantage of the reflex sight is that the pistol is not holster friendly.

On edit, I will go so far as to state that even the least expensive Chinese reflex sights work just as well as the expensive ones.

Theyre gonna be around $1200. Come in .22 and .25, just like the rifles. 19 shots in .22 and 17 in .25. They weigh 1.2kg and are 32.5cm long

The HW44 is excellent, it feels great (perfect trigger), and hits like a laser. Yes I have it in .22. Everything about it screams "quality" (it's a Weihrauch after all). Moderator is removable, but not to the 1/2 UNF standard so it's a bit annoying to remove (you need to unscrew two screws); and this is about the only downside it has. Sure it's plastic, but high quality polymer there, which helps making it less heavy. Shotcount is 20 shots per fill (two complete magazines). I'm now getting the GK1 in .25 because it's semi-auto and way more powerful, but I don't expect it to be as precise as the HW44, so I might actually keep them both :)

would you please let me know how the GK 2 is compared with say the moderator removed on the HW 44.. length, weight, and well I'm not sure how to compare shot count since you are getting different caliber.. I want a pistol short enough for a holster 12" max.. been texting another person here on the forum and he cut down his pp750 and I am planning on trying to do the same..
for a pistol I think 22 at 700fps or so is fine.. I'd just like a PCP compact enough to carry in a holster for snake in the woods..
I watched the videos on YouTube of this new pistol and it looks great, other than the price and I have seen people are having trouble with the evinix viper.. not sure how the action works on the new GK 1 .. it seems like it might be a double action trigger because I don't see any moving parts other than the revolving chamber.

What is everyone's plans for the gk1 pistol?

I was looking at a holosun and other reflex sights yesterday and wasn't really super happy with any except maybe the ones that had a circle and a +, to provide a couple aim points...I don't really want a scope for weight and handling. Not sure what I am gonna do with mine and welcome suggestions! My goal is 40-50 yard minute of squirrel, packable and holsterable.

Thoughts?
I was thinking prism scope. I’m on the second preorder

Huben GK1 Red dot mount option, truglo trutac micro with a monstrum mount for ruger 10/22 for the docter red dot type.

No permanent modifications done, i just removed the screw and spring from rear sight, install new longer screw with red dot mount and 3m double side tape the mount down (drill out a recess for the screw on top of gk1 on the bottom of mount) i did add a little hot glue in front mount hole to help keep it there, im also thinking of removing that little alignment pin and adding a screw. Red dot is very secure and works great on this pistol and is very bright in daylight. Also must have is the loading door from Ricochet, load three at once and no damage to pellets.

boomstrike.
so what caliber did you get? how many shots per fill.. I read that it is semi auto but it almost seems like it is maybe a double action? I'm interested in it and how well it functions.. what is it's overall length?
wondering if you are in the USA and if so what dealer did you get it from..
if I understand correctly it's made in Spain and, well there's a rifle from Spain I would really like to get but I can't find any importer.. it's called a mustang lobo..
thank you for any information you can share..

Hi, yes in the USA. And New England Airguns is where i purchased it. Its 12.5 inch long .fires as fast as you can pull the triggerits a .25 cal and I get 34 shots(two magazines) from 4000 psi fill with 25.39 grain jsb pellets at 810 fps and a good 20 shots at 800 fps from a 3000 psi fill. Its very accurate and does not drop fps much till the very end of the fill ,i have no problem hit the center area of a 6 inch gong at 100 yards. And around 1 inch groups or a little less at 25 yards.
