Fellow airgun enthusiasts,

I'm reaching out to you all as my 2023 Huben K1 air rifle has been stolen, and I'm asking for your help to keep an eye out. The package was marked as delivered Friday July 28th at 3:08pm but when the member arrived the package was not there.

I want to keep this post focused on what matters most - finding my stolen air rifle. I kindly request your support and general awareness in keeping an eye out for any signs of my Huben K1 in the Columbus, OH and surrounding area. If you come across any listings or discover any information, please reach out to me privately.

Our airgun community has always been a supportive group, and I'm genuinely appreciative of your help just keeping an eye out.

It has the updated loading gate and an atlas 3.35" picatinny rail on the front end. It is a 2023 Limited Wood Edition and the serial number is 22K12023WS0270.

I wonder if a neighbor has a camera that would show something. Maybe I’ve watched too many cop shows…

Did the member who received it ask his neighbors if they saw anything? Did he have any cameras of his own? What is he doing to help?

How does he have pictures of open box and serial # ? or does Hubin do that ?

I suppose those are sellers pictures, assuming it is a #2 hand rifle, that sadly now turned into the wrong #2 hand rifle.

@beerthief Stan it seems like he sold it to another member and the person told the OP that they didn’t receive it after the courier sent him a delivery notification. I assume the photos were taken before the rifle was shipped.

If there wasn't a picture of the package left on the doorstep then I would call the carrier and see if it was sent to the wrong house.

There was indeed a confirmed picture from courier and the receiving party confirmed it was his house and it was not there.

If there is proof of delivery, you are not liable. You did your job, post did their job. Leaving only two options. The buyer has it, or someone stole the package once delivered. Something like that I would have required a signature for.

I would think that homeowners insurance is the only recourse now but I wouldn't count on it either.

I completely agree and that's 100% my fault and take responsibility for that. It was going to a trusted party and didn't even think about it. Any packages sent from this point will be signature required.
