Tuning Umarex Notos has arrived.

For those who want to install double tank on the Notos, this is how I did mine. Just remember that this is on the high pressure side, so make sure to use ASTM rated material. The tank thread is M28x1.0 mm. I like to single point thread for this application, same as the barrel thread to make sure it is concentric to the center line. This way both tanks are match and seamless. You can just copy the dimensions from your end cap and make it back to back so it seals on both tank. Original bore hole was 16 mm, I made mine 18 mm bore to gain some CC. I still have over 2.5 mm wall thickness under the O-ring grove, plenty strong for this pressure.

This thread has become mostly useless.
The few here, who want to sell Notos related mods, please do it in the classifieds.

Those of you with lathes, your mods are irrelevant to the 99.9 of the people without them.

To the moderators, please make a forum for the guys with lathes so they can brag there and stop antagonizing the rest of us.

And why did you ask how I joined the 2 tanks? I don't sell anything, I try to teach others who wants to learn, so how is that antagonizing? Lighten up, cheers!

Nonsense!

This is a forum where we share our talents as well as our guns. These are valuable ideas and as such belong here as much as any post.

If you don't like the posts, don't read them!

There is no bragging going on, the posts are not irrelevant nor unwanted except by you. I get messages nearly every day asking for many of these mods to be done on thier guns.

The usability increases and people are better shots with guns and triggers that are tuned.

It seems to me that your opinion would strip others of this option and knowledge base unfairly.

I for one love his work, applaud the approach and would love to see more!

Judicious use of the ignore button will remove what/who you don't want to see.
Could some of it been done through PM, sure, but then someone would still ask the questions but the answers wouldn't be shared.
Another option, you can bookmark things you need to find again and go from there.

you are FREE to start a NEW post. so you can share or seek the knowledge you have or seek.
If it is useless, you have found that out, and do not need to revisit/reread this posting,,, easy pleasy

I find the machine work interesting, but ask why make them bigger or longer, I got it because it was small and light.
It is because they want to , that why, they just want to. :) and that's cool

I can see both perspectives, this thread is kind of going off course, from unboxing to serious r&d for mods, 35+ page threads are hard to decipher/follow and a lot of good information can be lost/buried.

I think the current direction of the thread isn't completely aligned with the original post, but I also understand how momentum works and people are enjoying their new toy and sharing, I can't get mad at that, but at this point the OP might as well start an index for the thread, an ideal thread carrying so much knowledge should be indexed.

Gentlemen,
I want to start by apologizing to anybody that find my post offensive, that is the last thing on my mind. I just thought because this is on the tuning page of the forum that this is where I should share tuning and mods. I know some like to keep things stock and that I can respect. I like to push the envelop and do experiments. This will be my last post here, more trigger time for me now, lol.

Thanks everyone and by,
