still,
its going to depend on what youre filling,
and to what pressure to determine fills.

filling a big bottle gun to 250bar youll be lucky to get 1 full fill.

i copied and pasted this prom pyramyds site,
they sell this tank and list a few guns and fills.

100 cubic inches (water volume) = 0.0579 cubic feet at standard atmosphere (1 bar).
0.0579 x 310 (compressed) = 17.949 cubic feet of compressed air at 310 bar (~4500 psi).
now it would have been so much quicker if wolfmangreg would have replied first. lol.
this is the answer i was looking for. i totally understand air volume. when i was a kid i built speaker boxes proffetionally. the number 1728 is permentaly infused in my head. but i knew when it came to compressed air the way they were rating the tanks was different.
if your 74 cu.ft. tank was truely that big it would take up a good portion of your truck box. hahahaha.

i am mainly filling a notos, compatto, and wildcat. that 100cu.in. tank will be perfect for a days shooting. pain in the butt lugging around my 74 cu.ft. tank in the field. i figure even my crown will get close to two fills.
If you get that 100 cubic inch tank, let us know how you like it. Have some 30 minute SCBA tanks (44 cubic foot) that are handy for putting in the car for an excursion, but a lot more than I want to carry on my person all day!

nope, Wrong, Prophetganda is correct, 12 cubed .... 12x12x12=1728 or 1cuft
Is 12 cubic inches 1 cubic foot?

1 foot = 12 inch. Therefore 1 cubic foot = 1728 cubic inch.

This is correct, a cubic ft is 1 foot long by 1 ft wide by 1 ft high, or 12 inches LxWxH or 12x12x12 for 1728 cu in. As listed by a couple members.

Bring back an old thread. With that being said, if I take my Huben GK1 hunting, using the air venturi 100 cu in tank, I will only get .7 fill. Might have to opt in for a bigger tank. Is there something like a 30 cu ft tank at all? I don't want something too big to carry around...

Can that formula be correct? You are mixing Cu. Ft and Cu. Centimeters?

I'm not 100% sure but I was just trying to follow previous posters conversion from a 100 cu in bottle and covert it to cu ft. Then I just filled in the blank, brought to you by Airgun of Arizona. There's no option to really change the measurement thus needing the conversions.
