Trying to buy an FWB 602

Hello all

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but figured I'd ask. I've sent Carel several emails about some of his classifieds on AmericanAirguns - one about 5 days ago, and a couple over the last 24 hours - about a prior and current ads. I haven't received any responses. I realize there's a pretty significant time difference (I'm on the West Coast) but from all I've read on here, he's really responsive. My email is a gmail address, as is his, so I'm doubting my inquiries are ending up in his junk folder. Has anyone been unable to reach him via email? Anything else I should try?

thanks!
Michael

I assume you typed his email address correctly. No bounce backs from those you sent. His email address is a bit unusual with two dots in the name.

Yup - triple checked it - copied it directly from his ad. No bounces (ironically mine has two dots as well...and interestingly, you can remove the dots and the address still resolves correctly.)

Saw the listing was removed. Glad you were able to connect and purchase the rifle. The 602 will be a fine rifle. Have a 603, minor differences, and it’s the last airgun I would ever part with. Enjoy when you receive it.
I’ll be curious to see how it shoots compared to my 853. I’m sure it will be night and day, but I’ve started to really get the 853 dialed in. Good to have choices. Certainly can’t beat the price of the Daisy

Yeah, no, sorry, should have given context. I am 71 as shake too much for offhand. Rested only front, butt held to shoulder with off hand, no rear rest. Rifle lifted to cock and load between each shot then repositioned. Point nonetheless is that the FWB 600-series still hangs with the best of 10-meter rifles.
That’s awesome. I shot this offhand at 7m with the 835. I still need to do the trigger mod, it’s currently pulling about 4.5-5lbs. 10 shots.
