What springer did you shoot today?

I was given a Hatsan Model 95. The person that gave it to me had given up because the barrel would wobble and not lock up tight. I fabricated a couple of brass shims for it. I also noticed there was a part broken in the trigger group. This part is not really needed in a Quattro trigger. So I also fabricated a bushing to replace the broken part. The gun is working. Took the rifle out and shot it a few times. Tomorrow will sight it in and give it a workout.

Nice. And probably a lot easier than dealing with Hatsan “customer service” from what I’ve heard. Finally got some meaningful time with the FWB124 this evening. Mounted modern glass on it last night. The original Japanese RWS 4 x 32 is a neat little scope but gun was still high at 25 yards and I had limited elevation adjustment left. Didn’t want to risk ruining a cool old scope. Put up a piece of cardboard and drew a target to zero it. Traced a dime and then traced a quarter around it. Once it was zeroed I didn’t need the quarter and only needed about 1/3 of the dime. At 25 yards it put 15 shots into a group that small. After 8 or 9 shots I only knew it was a hit because I could see bits of the backstop chip off. Sweet little gun. With the ARH Plinkers kit it’s making 10.5 FPE with either JSB 8.4 or FTT but is easier to cock than a HW30. Easy to shoot offhand. Light weight. Just a really nice rifle, glad to have it.

Actually I ordered some parts from them the other day. Will be here tomorrow. I have never had a problem with their service. I use this address HatsanUSA Service [email protected] leave parts #s give them my account information. They send me invoice in email to pay. Have been doing this for years.

Good to know. Have seen others post less pleasant experiences. If I’m lucky I won’t have to find out LOL.

I was given, I beleive its 95QE gas ram that leaks. I have been putting air in it with a hand pump. I cut an access in the stock for the fill probe so that I wouldn't have to remove the stock every time. The last time I pulled it out it wouldnt hold air anymore at all. So a parts list would be nice if the parts are available. I wouldn't mind converting it to spring.

Morning shoot with a HW 80k .22.

This beauty hasn’t seen much daylight. Once scoped in, it was a beast, hitting with authority. Got some decent grouping at 45 yds.
Next is a HW97 lam. .177. Incredible gun. Fun to shoot. So accurate.

Doesn’t look like a blue lam. Can’t go wrong with a 97. Crow

Both my .25 and the .177 my friend gave me are spring.

The fall is a great time of the year. Don’t like it getting dark 3 hours earlier. In the morning, this gun will cheer you up. A HW90 .20. DI’d I ever say this gun is unreal. I think it has supernatural powers.

I’ve got a spring and piston seal waiting for install this winter for the 80.
In the afternoon I shot a Diana 460 .22 cal. Very nice grouping at 45 yds. Hits like a sledge hammer.

Today I spent awesome time with a drone with a deadly camera. I got some really cool shots of range from air. When I learn to transfer the pics to my phone, will post. Crow

35E .177 came out to play for a little today. Don’t wanna hear from the HW50 fanbois about it being heavier and making just a little more power. Dont want to hear from the HW30 fanbois about their cute, easy to cock, shoot all day lightweight little guns. They are fun to shoot one-handed though :) . Seriously though, this gun just suits me. Nice thing about AG, there’s one out there to suite just about everyone. Weight, balance, LOP for this one all perfect for me. Trigger is perfect. Much easier for me to steady standing than the FWB 124, I think because the LOP is 1 1/2” longer. It’s pressing my .22 HW95 for favorite all around springer. Worth every bit of effort it took to get it where it is now. Love this gun.

These here. Rebuilt the HW77 yesterday afternoon. Now that the detonation issue is fixed it shoots as good as it looks. Two very accurate rifles. Which was good because we had 30+ mph winds. Would blow so hard it moved the barrel so you had to shoot when it died down a little. Great day for reactive targets. And cans.
