Bought the $35 magnetic loading gate, installed, went out to my bench fired and it flew open. Will put original back on. If yours works, let me know if you had to tweak it, or if it worked as is. Bill and Addi.

I made this with stuff I found around the house. 2 disc magnets in an inleted piece of EVA foam, then stacked more to get the desired width. Then cut to shape.
Not sure what kind magnets, but stronger the better. I stick it to rear right under the sight when I load the magazine.

Interesting question....I received my GK1 from Kelly at Kraz and I opted for the loading gate to be installed.
All of the aftermarket loading gats I had seen prior to this had magnetic retention systems, mine just shuts, no magnet however so far, its stayed closed but my question is do any of you have magnets on your loading gate from Kelly?

I made something similar that works like a charm. This is my “ first draft” and it‘s kinda crude and un refined.

Looks like you could get 4 rounds loaded vs 1 or 3 from the OEM or the aftermarket loading gates.

Actually,I can load 5 at a time. It goes 5,5,5,4.
The magnets are super strong. 1/4” dia X 1/4” long. I probably could use shorter magnets and therefore reduce how far it sticks up on each end.

That aluminum gate looks awesome! Just wanted to add, maybe you could integrate a little nub on the bottom and it could also be a pellet seater so you have the tool onboard.

@SenseiSmash I assume that Kelly uses the same loading gate on the GK1 as he does on the K1. Either way, the gate I bought from him for my K1 has no magnet.
