Good coffee makes good shots

I dont get the thing with coffee and caffeinated drinks.
Sure when i wake up i MUST have Java, but really any version will do as i take my sugar with coffee , but that is also the only cup of Java i need.

And the caffeinated drinks, i am like OMG are people really working that hard they are that tired all the time.

Anyways my friend dont do coffee so when i spend the night out there to get 2 days of shooting, my get up and going drink is a can of coke.

I do remember as a kid we bought coffee beans, and either ground them up on the machine the shop had, or we had those little coffee blenders at home to do the same.
The little kiosk at the end of the block always had a nice coffee aroma, and there was no selling of cigarettes or alcohol to kids unless be had a note from home, and this was decades before they whipped laws ASO up for things like that, you know back when people was responsible on their own accord.

you cant mention coffee,
without telling us what kind/grind/preparation method

Best coffee i ever had was the #1 ship i sailed on as Engineer, it was some dutch brand. ( Max Havelaar )
But its not like i have gone hunting for it, i can do what i call " laser coffee " ( instant coffee ) just fine.
It is like when i was a smoke eater, sure i had my favorite brand of cigarettes but really anything would do.

I go through a serious process every morning - without fail.

For those that don’t understand “the coffee thing”.

The ONLY tea i will do is earl grey, ALL the other what i call " hippie tea " they can keep to them self.
I also like hot coco.

I thoroughly enjoy on my morning pest hunts, that thermos of coffee I sip as I wait on my prey.

coffee "rabbit hole" is larger than air guns . 30 years ago my wife bought a pound of fresh roasted coffee beans and a grinder I now grind the beans at the time i make coffee . And the beans are roasted at the shop i buy from .
EDIT: Yes coffee is directly related to Air Guns . So not off topic .

grinding your own makes all the difference!

and then preparing your freshly ground
with a french press makes it..... MAGICAL

I make my coffee the same way my mother did.

I probably drink more coffee than water everyday. Love it, no instant stuff for me. When they use to aire “The first 48” a real life TV showing how the first 48 hours are crucial in trying to solve murders. Anyway the Florida/ Miami version there was a Portuguese detective who use to drink some kind of coffee but the serving size like a tiny condiment cup.
It’s supposed be like supercharged expresso. I’d like to try it one day.
