Was refilling my tank and one of the hoses let loose I about crapped my pants lol... Any one else experience this split second oh God what just broke feeling?

Sure, M50 filter cap "O" rings really get your attention when they blow. They're the big ones in the picture, went thru factory-installed ones and spare set, though not all went out with a bang. Replacements from eBay seller, Oringsandmore, are holding up great. WM

Whenever I fill my tanks I throw a rubber mat over my fill hoses just for that reason. I don’t want to get hit in the face with something if they fail.

It was the hose it split had nothing to do with the fitting.inspect and replace worn fosters fittings, they do wear out so keep spares when needed.

It was about an inch from the fitting, the hose was not crimped or anything just the normal curl going into the water trap. Who knows why probably just a bad/cheap hose.

My YH blowing the burst disk caught be by surprise. Then I put the new one is wrong and did it again. Haha.
