BSA Piston Seal Lubrication

I just received a tuning kit for a Mk. 1 BSA Supersport. The kit includes some "ultra grease" and "ultra lube". According to the instructions the grease is for the mainspring and lube for the piston. There's nothing mentioned about lubricating the piston seal. Does it not require any lubrication?
The kit also includes a washer labelled, "top hat front disc & spring guide disc (rear)". I assume this sits between the top hat and end of the piston?
 
the washers are put one the top hats for the spring to ride on, when the spring is polish they will act a plain bearing of sorts
when the spring is compressed the spring will be free to spin on the washer and not bind up
i use a disc pad that you would put in and drill with some 800 for spring end polishing
lube on piston would go from the lip of the seal back and the seal will distribute the grease
kit was from Chambers i see

Yes, the kit is from Chambers. Using the same lubricant on the seal and piston makes sense as whatever lubricant is used on the piston will transfer to the cylinder and from there to the piston seal anyway.

Use very little lubricant. A light wipe around the first and last finger width ends of the piston is all that's needed. Much more and you'll stand the chance of overloading the seals wiping ability. That leads to excessive dieseling.

Very little is needed on the spring too. A smear on the ends and sides of the guides is enough.
