Welcome to AGN. Great forums, a lot of good information available here. Youtube is your friend. Check out last year's gun shows like IWA and the British Shooting Show.

Like Rob said, you need a fill source and a hand pump is a rough way to go. Check these guys out, they are the 200 pound gorillas of the compressor world. They seem to be a great ROI but again, youtube is your friend.

Guessing you dont have dive shops all over there in Central Iowa so need to consider how you're going to fill a PCP. All a part of the fun. Good thing is if you do it right, it's a one time expense and then opens the doors for other PCP's (rabbit hole). Welcome
lol. You are correct. No dive shops near. But plenty of welding supply shops.

Looks like you've already done your research there then. If you have air/nitrogen available, your choices are near endless on guns that would accommodate your needs. The amount of (relatively) inexpensive PCP's out now is staggering compared to years past. Which guns are you looking at currently?

I purchased the

Hatsan Flash QE PCP Air Rifle, .25 caliber

Will see where that leads me next. Maybe a springer
