BIG NEWS, FELLAS!
Here is my affiliate link to the BARREL MOUNTED CHRONOGRAPH I'd been testing for the manufacturer! This thing is sweeeeeeet! Threads right onto your 1/2-20 barrel and without even using a phone app you can log all your shots and scroll through them, calibrate the unit, and enter in your grain weight to compute FPE or Joules, and it reads in FPS and MPS!!!

Sounds interesting. Although Amazon says it's currently unavailable... Does it act as a suppressor also? If not, they need to add a male ½-20 UNF adapter to the end of it so you can mount a suppressor after the chrony and still be backyard friendly!

Yeah they sold out instantly after I posted it everywhere. I am pushing the manufacturer to get more in and up on Amazon. Price is a crisp C-note.

Does not act as a moderator at all, but i already suggested to add an end cap with threading and it may be in the works

very cool looking but totally worthless for me. It should have an extra set of threads for a moderated to be added at least in front of it.
Ideally it would be somehow added to the end for real world data with a can in place.

That’s pretty cool. I suppose it is difficult to view if bench shooting, is there a way to do a remote screen? Pistols would do fine but a longer rifle would be a bit cumbersome.

Thanks for letting us know, I’ll probably figure out I just ‘HAVE TO’ have one for my pistols.

The biggest problem with having a thread on the other end is stacking tolerances. If plastic even harder for it to maintain alignment and prevent clipping. And boy if you think your rig is long now...

anything one puts on the end of a barrel might clip . Clipping can be caused by the bore not being centered in the barrel , does not take much to be off .

The through hole is listed as 10mm and the construction says aluminum. I do not know but I can’t imagine clipping being an issue for smaller calibers. Will it affect poi? I’m sure it will to some extent, similar to any other barrel device.
