N/A Is Your Favorite Pistol Your Best Pistol?

My most expensive is my HW75. But it's not my favorite.
My best trigger is on my Beeman P3, but it's not my favorite.
My most accurate is my Crosman 2300KT 10" LW barrel, but it's not my favorite.
My most fun plinking pistol is my 2240, but it's not my favorite.
My prettiest pistol is my HW75 with the brilliant grip extension and stocks made by BeardofGrayling, but it's not my favorite.

These things should make for a favorite pistol, but for some reason do not because my favorite pistol is my HW70.
Not sure why, there is just something special about it.

My very most favorite pistol is also the very first PCP gun I purchased years ago when they first came out — the Weihrach HW44 in 177 cal. I discovered it likes the H&N Baracuda FT 9.57 grain pellets the best. Lots or pellets thru the pipe on this pistol and back for service just one time.

I mostly shoot indoors in my basement, especially during the winter. I've shot out to 25 yards and it excels at that distance, but I am shooting at 7 yards this winter.

That was my favorite until the Huben GK1 came out. The Huben is such a game changer with power that makes even the HW44 weak. The semi-auto feature and reliability along with the accuracy to me leap frogs all of my old favorites and it has the power to take down small game as I can shoot slugs with 70 foot pounds of power!

.25 pp800 Will put the biggest smile on your face. Horrendously inefficient, but 50fpe in short barrel with 25gr projectiles sounds like a cannon (@ 2 shots per fill). Supremely accurate as well. 65fpe in longer barrel.

.177 Ranchero is highly refined, and powerful for a small caliber. Classy as well.

The .22 Grand Prix is much the same. Both it and the FX are as accurate as you can ask for.

Custom 1322 pumper with 14.5" LW barrel. Is no slouch in accuracy either. Classic, good fun.

The 1322 PCP, however, has a 1701 trigger group. A custom LW barrel that is very special to me. And just as accurate as it is special. Integrated moderator that is extremely quiet. Custom Huma regulator, massive shot count. And I love the burris scope on it. It is very heavy. Also the most accurate off-hand pistol I have due to it's stability and balance. Dense Ebony wood grips. Multi-shot mag. Hard not to love, and it's got about the best of everything in or on it.

Is it the best? In a lot of ways, I think so. But it really is hard to pick between most of them.

My favorite pistol could also be considered the best, or at least one of the best air pistols I own. The HW75 is my favorite.

Maybe they're not the absolute best pistols I own, but a very close second place goes to my S&W 78G and 79G. My all time favorite PB pistol is the S&W Model 41, and those two air pistols come the closest to replicating the look, feel, and balance of the 41.

They're also damn nice to look at.

Such a hard post to answer,

my best pistol is definitely the Huben and it's also my favorite for many reasons but my most fun pistol to shoot is my Tangfolio 1911 with the 2 extra magazines,....for me that I live in a warm climate co2 is very useful year round and this pistol is so fun to practice quick draw double tap.

I don t have any PCP pistols. Maybe I should try one but I only collect airgun as old as I am usually. Lately I have been shooting an Acvoke and a Warrior. Crosman 150 with a laser dot is one of the more modern air pistols but not a favorite. S&W78G has the best trigger and it is modern too.

Best = Accles & Shelvoke Warrior
Favorite= Accles & Shelvoke Acvoke
Most Accurate= S&W780, Crosman MK2, HW75
Plinking Fun = Healthways Western or Topscore 175 BB-gun
Most Attractive - Hy-score 800 thru 804 Air Pistol (I collect Hy-scores).

My favorite would be my Schimel. Accurate, loud, and powerful. You’d swear you were shooting .22 shorts. You don’t need ear protection, but almost.

Next in line would be the Crosman 600. That carbine semiautomatic action is devilishly addictive. With ten pellets in the magazine you can keep a squirrel dancing all the way across the back fence 😁

I have a few air pistols .177 - .45 cal but more of these than any other. 7 last count and will add another when the rite opportunity presents itself. I guess that constitutes a favorite even if I don’t shoot them as often as some others.
