New for 2024 - FX DRS

Seems FX is always showing the Grade 2 stock in all these pictures, not the standard. I'd like to see more pictures of the Standard Grade Walnut Stock.

id like to see the Drs pro in the classic stock.. anyone know if they might do that?
has anyone seen the price for the classic?
guess I just don't really like the looks of the pro, but it seems like it has more power on tap along with a longer barrel.

The classic is the PRO, the PRO just wear a extremely expensive ALU chassis, so the Classic in walnut is half the price for the same so to say.
It is my understanding the 700 mm Classic will also come with the large plenum, but not sure if it or the PRO actually come with the plenum mounted angled gauge for regulated pressure
O also it do seem like the PRO come with the heavy slug barrel VS the Classic even in 700 mm coming in the regular liner.

The main block is the same and all the drs rifles. You just need a longer barrel, and a bigger Plenum and you can have the pro power

closer to a 1/3 the cost.... UA and NEA lists the Pro for US$2899.oo. No way is FX paying full retail (US$1600.oo on MDT's website) for the chassis.

Now, when I get my DRS Pro, the real question is: what camo pattern should I use when I instantly spray paint it immediately after unboxing it?
I'm thinking either tiger stripe or M81 woodland.

personally Id rather have it painted with Kandy Lime over gold flake or maybe Kandy Apple over silver flake

but if I understand correctly it's similar except the pro has a longer barrel air tube assembly and a larger pelenium.. synthetic is ok, I like it better than the aluminum chassis stock on the pro.. but ultimately the wood stock looks so much better, since it's supposed to look like a conventional rifle, I just think it would be nice having the longer barrel of the pro but in a wood stock..
the classic as I understand has a shorter barrel, smaller pelenium, since you don't have the barrel length to utilize the air, it also has lower power in all calibers.
where the pro has a long enough barrel and of course the air tube is according to the barrel length.. I might be wrong but it seems like the pro had more power available..
guess I just don't care for the looks of the pro aluminum stock.. the forend is ok but from the trigger back I just didn't like it's looks..

are you sure about that? I might have misread the length of the barrel and power level but it seems like I remember the classic as being more of a carbine, with a shorter barrel and smaller pelenium and lower power since it doesn't have as long a barrel to utilize the air..
it would be great if they were the same, or available as a classic stock and pro guts..

New England Airguns has for pre order the classic in a 700mm barrel as a synthetic stock and wood stock

I hope to hear good things about this gun, I'm not the person who normally buys right out of the gate.. but it sure is looking good.. I also, for myself hopefully it is set up so that it will shoot the 22 caliber jsb jumbo monster redesigned or something heavier..I don't believe I saw 30 caliber available, seems like 25 caliber was the largest..I'm not into tuning, and with this gun not having adjustment all over, hopefully it will be good out of the box..
thank you for sharing this.. it could push me into getting my first FX

Like the DRS PRO very much but can't really come to sense with the 2000 premium for the MDT chassis.
Specially when this one is 1500 with folding stock. So I guess a 600-700 dollar premium for inletting for the DRS.

As far as I can see, the drs classic has more power. With the .22 700mm barrel they give a max of 119 joule on the classic, where the Pro has 97 joule with the same specs....
All according to Krale website. FX took the classic powerspecs offline.
The classic does not have a regulator manometer. Only an airtube capacity manometer.
