I removed the OEM rail/picatinny on my Western Airguns Sidewinder because it made the optic sit too high and too far forward for me to get a good cheek weld and the proper eye relief. I purchased a 12" rail and took it to a machinist in town who drilled & milled it to fit on the existing Sidwinder dovetail mounts which he charged me $60 for that work. Once I got around to installing it I came up with a different method of screws from the bottom so I purchased another rail and had them mill the same channel but forgo the drilling. The first picture below shows the 2nd rail installed on my sidewinder and I love it!! No more goofy cheek weld or eye relief problems. will work with a standard tube scope as well.
What this listing is for is the first rail I had drilled and milled. The 2nd, 3rd, & 4th pictures show the rail that I'm selling which was never mounted. Your welcome to call me with any questions or for specifics on the what, why, and how of this rail. 847.715.6944
