At my range we had vey nice tables like the one pictured But (there is that word again ) the members voted to change then all to wooden benches that can be moved and unleveled and random distances to the targets so sad .This is a rest. As the name "rest" implies...the gun is rested upon the front and rear support. It is not clamped into it. The rest is a means of supporting the rifle while allowing mechanical elevation and wibdage adjustment. You do not clamp a rifle into a rest.

Isn't that pretty hard to control and have a safe and consistent firing line? Our range has one firing line and portable target stands to change your shooting distances. At my range we had vey nice tables like the one pictured But (there is that word again ) the members voted to change then all to wooden benches that can be moved and unleveled and random distances to the targets so sad .
Is that your new .218 38 grain slug? I am gonna be calling in the next 4 to 6 weeks to order a straight slug shooter or one of your combo pellet - slugs on the same tune rifles.25 shot group at 50 in light to medium wind. Thomas Slug gun and 38gr slugs.
Added another 25 for 50 total and messed it up a little.
Group measured .361" outside to outside at widest part. Around .26 moa. Very pleased

The local Rimfire group has found an effective way to deal with me. They deemed my air rifle an unfair advantage and created a class for me to shoot by myself. You have to drive the rimfire group that is aware of you bonkers,lol..
That's how many deal with another's success brought on by hard work. The local Rimfire group has found an effective way to deal with me. They deemed my air rifle an unfair advantage and created a class for me to shoot by myself.
