Anyone take advantage of Airgun Depot sale?

Been on the hunt for a rifle with more power than my hw30 in .177. Looked d34s, and various clones. Thought about a gas ram for a while, I have never had 1. Finally came across the agd website having their sale for the weekend. After cruisin' through pages of rifles I found the Crosman Vantage NP in .177 on sale, and still able to use the discount code. Rated at 1200 fps with alloy. After reading the reviews and whatever else I could find between them, PA, and posts here I ordered the combo. I am prepared for the scope to be a disappointment, and to have to do the bearing mod on the trigger. Overall the rest of the reviews are quite favorable. I also like the idea it comes with a wood stock, although no fancy high figured walnut or anything like that. To be fair you can't buy a nice walnut blank for the cost of the whole rifle. Either way I am a big Crosman/benjamin fan, and it seemed right that my first go at a gas ram style springer would come from them.

supposed to arrive Friday. Looking forward to putting it through it's paces. I would prefer if only the front sight was fiberoptic, but at least it comes with open sights. I imagine we are still in the time frame where this will be "old" stock, and fall into the now collectible pre-Daisy/gamo Crosman production. 😁

Well you may have a collectors piece there. I don't get along with the fiber optics either, they wash out in any kind of light for me. I just take a sharpie or a little dab of black paint and put over them. Keep us in the loop on how she shoots.
I definitely will. I have high hopes for this since it fills two big holes in my collection. The higher powered .177 springer, and the gas ram option. Right now the only higher velocity .177 I have is a pcp converted 22xx. Which I like, but it only gets about 5 shots before I have to pump it up again due to the high output.
Picked up a Beeman P17 and some Meisterkugeln for camping season to have a little fun with. Was about 50$ after shipping and using a 10$ credit I had.
Nice! I had a p17 for quite a while. Fun pistol. Mine would shoot almost any ammo with reasonable consistency.

I have a spring version from 15 years or so ago, it has been a nice rifle and even survived being in a flood for two weeks! With just cleaning up and oil. Wish I knew it would be a collectors item! Lol I cut the stock down and painted it for my son, the only gripe besides the fiber optic sights is it has cartoonish barrel droop.
Gonna find out if mine has anything not mentioned in the reviews soon enough. Some folks say its a lottery....but agd has a 30 day window for return, and the gun itself has 5 year warranty.

Yes, I only just missed buying your P17/ Excite package a little while back. It's actually what prompted me to grab one LOL!
