It depends what you want to do. Rust-Oleum and Krylon are great but pricey as are the Day-glo colors. I used them sparingly. Light thin coats are good. Flat paint looks the best. For black and white paint I bought the cheapest I could find like WalMart stuff. Those of you who do detail work on your targets you can use peramanent markers and paint pens and model paint from a hobby shop. When I was painting over something I used ti wait a few days to make sure it was totally dry.
I always thought it was fun to make the targets look nice ( you don't have to be a "Norman Rockwell").
