A hypothetical question

I love my Huben K1, and it is right in that price range. I think it is a phenomenal all-around gun, but of course is limited to .22 and .25 caliber. I know of at least one custom .177 that was made, but it can't be made larger than .25 caliber.

Of course it depends on what you want to do with it. About the only thing I think it does not excel at is benchrest. But that is common with bullpups.

You'd have to give some relevant info for an informed response. Slugs or pellets? Hunting or target shooting? Classic styling or tactical? Semi auto/full auto or manual for each shot? The dollar amount is almost irrelevant compared to what it will be used for. Your question is almost like another "What's the BEST PCP"! Relevant FACTS matter.

I don’t think all that really matters. What’s the ONE gun you would buy for said amount of money. Not what is the best gun🤷🏻‍♂️

If you had $2500 to spend on an pcp air rifle what would you buy ??
I would buy "pre-owned" to maximize the value of my purchase. I like traditional walnut and steel rifles, so I would browse the Daystate lineup. They are generally the premier quality and performance leaders at that price point. A non-electronic Daystate Huntsman is one of the finest rifles out there, and you could use the balance of your budget on an air compressor, air tank and other accessories. I own a .20 Huntsman Regal. A real shooter and a beauty.

As for an electronic Daystate, the Mk4 is a real fine rifle. I own one and it is one of my best shooters and a beauty to behold.

Footloose did NOT ask what we think he should buy,,, he asked what we would buy
if,,, I would find a 22 cal Taipan compact or Weihrauch carbine the small/short ones hopefully a 20 cal other wise a 22, or a AAA mini
because that is my use for airguns, yard and garden protection

I asked the question on what YOU would buy not me .. But for the few guys that want specifics , If I had $2500 to spend on a pcp , It would be a bench rest gun 1" groups out to 100 yards , externally adjustable regulator , around 50 plus consistent shots , two stage light trigger , not a compact I have a few of those already , Id be open to a traditional or tactical look , the list goes on there a lot of guns to choose from at this price point . Which Is why I'm asking you guys what your choice might be ?
