Yeah, don't think 2 grains more over 18.13 would be worth it for the lights over NSAThe Lights are.....$11.19 a tin 200ct.....I was hoping for 500ct close to the 18gr price. NSA 17.5gr & 20.2 cost less per piece .
The only thing I hoard is boxes, and that's cause I'm always trading something that's not getting enough use lol.@JaceSpace1369 is laughing, but I too have hoarded.
And definitely not when the AEA pellets coming in at 21.9g are $9.99 for 250pcsThe Lights are.....$11.19 a tin 200ct.....I was hoping for 500ct close to the 18gr price. NSA 17.5gr & 20.2 cost less per piece .
They keep driving them prices up… the 200 ct. tins have zero appeal. Airgunning is a high volume endeavor, if it starts to get close to the price of rimfire ammo? Lots of potential users will simply stay away…You would think that with the popularity of slugs, pellets would be cheaper. 18.1’s used to be $12 for a tin of 500, makes me wish I’d bought a truck load back in the day!
No, but I shot them with my taipan 2. Mediocre results. Will try it in my wildcat 3 soon.Come on you projectile hoarders, where are the reports? Anyone shooting Monster Hades from a Huben?
I recognize it's not for everybody but casting is kind of a critical part of the sport for me. I know there are plenty of folks for whom it is absolutely worth the price for the convenience and consistency, but the way (plinking, off hand) I shoot I would feel like a fool to be meeting my daily shooting needs at the rate of 20 ish dollars for 300 .25 cal projectiles. I guess it's not all that bad - about a buck per magazine with the GK1.They keep driving them prices up… the 200 ct. tins have zero appeal. I used to think the same about small tins but I much prefer grabbing the JTS 250ct tins with screw tops over a 500ct press fit tins. There much nicer and can throw them anywhere and not worry about opening. Also fit in my back pocket easily. But not the press fit 200ct either open too easy and makes a mess. They keep driving them prices up… the 200 ct. tins have zero appeal. I too wish JSB would go to screw top lids on ALL their counts/offerings as I have dropped a 500ct press on lid in the field, it wasn't pretty ! And, will be sticking with the 18gr now that I see the prices for the new offerings.....I used to think the same about small tins but I much prefer grabbing the JTS 250ct tins with screw tops over a 500ct press fit tins. Now the cost yes not a fan of the prices of what there asking. I won't go slugs due to what they cost compared to what I have using .22lr. But these "specialty" pellets costing what they do now no thanks. Just gonna stick with the average 18gr pellets.
They'd probably increase the price by $2 or $3 if they converted to the screw cansI too wish JSB would go to screw top lids on ALL their counts/offerings as I have dropped a 500ct press on lid in the field, it wasn't pretty ! I think you're right.....doesn't make sense as the .177 are the same price as the 16-18gr....just a marketing ploy with "Monster Light" name...usually JSB is fantastic with their price to ammo ratio in my opinion for what one gets. They'd probably increase the price by $2 or $3 if they converted to the screw cans
