Other Inexpensive Durometer Okay?

I like to buy o-rings in bulk rather than in "sets" from the manufacturer which can be expensive. One tricky think is knowing the correct hardness if the manufacturer will not share that information. I'd like to get a durometer shore A tester and see several on Amazon for $25-$30. Does anyone have experience with these inexpensive testers? I do not want to spend hundreds of $$$'s on an industrial grade tester.

We manufacture some electrical assemblies that are potted with 2 part epoxy and one of the quality checks we perform is a Shore A hardness test. I have bought 15 or so of these cheap ones from Amazon for the techs to use during assembly. We haven't had any problems with them and they all seem to be very accurate. The parts we are measuring range from 65-85 Shore A in hardness.
