Is there a way to take the play out of the cocking shoe to make the breech seal seal better? Thanks Jimmy

I took .010 of brass shim and cut to fit under cocking shoe to be sandwiched between shoe and compression tube. Left a little extra on the ends to bend at 90degrees so it can not come out. Helped my TX out.

Like Buckeye86, when the Motörhead last tuned my TX he made a SS sled that encased the cocking shoe and took away all of the sloppiness.

Air Rifle Headquarters used to sell machine tooled cocking shoes you had to file to fit. I put one on my TX. May check with them and see if they have made a run of them. Seems like he would make a run every so often.

I have asked ARH to make another run of these and just got a smiley face in response. I don't think this product is likely to come back.

When I talked to jim last , he said the cost of a new machine to make them was over 30 thousand. So I can see why he will not make them.
