Utah Airguns Support

So I purchased an air gun from Utah Airguns. Received it and out of the box it was leaking air if filled past 1000 PSI. I was able to call Utah airguns, open a ticket, troubleshot with the rep, and eventually sent the air gun back for them to either replace or fix. When Utah Airguns received it, I got an email stating it was received and will take 3-4 weeks to repair. I find this unacceptable and tried calling in to talk to someone but it seems like it goes straight to their voicemail. I tried calling a few times at different parts of the day but no luck. Are they blocking phone numbers? If they are acting like this, I'd prefer not to do business with them. I'm pretty disappointed because so many folks has recommended them. But none the less, what are your thoughts?

This is the worst time of the year for Utah Airguns service. They are hosting RMAC this week, so no surprise that you can’t get a hold of anyone. Give them a few days and try again. What gun do you have, and where is the leak?

They put this up on Instagram in the last couple days...

Ah, that might be why. I will give them a few days and will try again. I bought an AEA SF Compact in .25 caliber. It was leaking around the regulator.

Definitely related to RMAC. I saw something from them saying that they are basically closed most of the days, and only open a few hours with all hands on deck for the event.

I think they are in the start of a big air gun event taking place this weekend..so there that.
I would think sending out another brand new gun out first of next week is the right thing to do.
I will be following...best of luck
It is a bit concerning. When I received it, I noticed a few knicks on the airgun including wear on the dove tail. I really don't believe I received a new air gun.

RMAC is understandable. Several weeks to fix a Brand-New gun is inexcusable.... I would send it back and file a claim with your credit card company. Bleep that nonsense.
I will wait until RMAC is done. I'll give Utah air gun the benefit of the doubt and see what they have to say about waiting for the 3-4 weeks. I will keep you all posted.

3-4 weeks is a pretty standard time quote for any sort of diagnosis and repair. Can't expect everything to be overnight service.
As someone that just removed/installed 2 A/C units in a customer's house today, in the Florida heat... I gotta disagree. With a little effort... things go pretty fast.

You have no idea how many guns are in for service ahead of yours or how many techs they don't have due to people not wanting to work. Patience is a lost commodity.
The gun is brand new. It showed up not working. He should go to the front of the line.

That line might still be 20 deep. Especially if they all bought AEA’s. I’ve been in this hobby for a very long time. With what’s going on with RMAC, I would be satisfied if I was contacted and knew what direction this issue was headed in 2-3 weeks. After that, then it’s time to get cranky.
