I had a slug get jammed and cleared the Jam . On my Hatsan piledriver .457 when filling it with air it leaks like crazy . Has anyone experience this ? What seal or prong did. Rupture ?
Bottlehow are you trying to fill it ? compressor, hand pump or bottle ?
if completely empty......
to seat the valve/poppet, you must "shock charge" it with a blast of air from a bottle.
just a thought, good luck !

to seat the valve/poppet, you must "shock charge" it with a blast of air from a 4500 psi tank.

you might have a piece of lead in the transfer port that held the valve open when you cleared the jam.
another guess.....good luck

sounds like valve/poppet is stuck or broke, could be a seal or o-ring too..... it needs to be looked at.I tried to fill the gun with air again . With the cocking handle closed . Air is coming out the muzzle

Make sure you post what you find fixes the problem so if others have a similar problem they can try the same thing.
I too am thinking that the problem is the poppet/valve seat and that maybe some shaved leaf is keeping the poppet from sealing to the valve seat.
I'm thinking of getting the Hatsan Piledriver in 50 cal and now looking at the comments to see how this powerhouse is in quality. Did you ever find out what was causing the air leak? If so it be nice to read what the issue was. Thanks in advance and very much appreciated. It’s under warranty . I’ll send it back to the place I bought it from . I’ll post when I find out the issue
