Theoben Theoben seals

This is great news Bill. Thank you. I've had an RA-800 in pieces for years due to the pesky Zephyr piston seal. I knew you prayed for me the last time we talked! Apparently no one on the planet has them.

This is great news. I was waiting for mine to go bad amd was just going to send them out to be cloned and ordered in bulk but this is even easier. Thanks for the heads up!

Darn shame certain people that have access to them hoard them. I was fortunate to buy some of the last from Davis. I don't want to part with any because I have several cherished Theobens that will need rebuilt one day and don't want to have to ship my extremely well cared for guns across the country and pay hundreds of dollars each to have seals replaced when I'd rather do it myself.
I have read very good reviews about the Brit Seals.
I understand UK Theoben owners have been out of luck for quite some time. Unable to ship them here for service.

Hopefully they use a more modern seal design.

I also got a few when Davis was selling them. Unfortunately, I have used them all on my guns. They are still available from Impact Airguns, but I have never been successful in placing an order with them. If anyone comes up with a source, please put me on the list!

AVAILABLE, but you can't place an order?
They probably only take orders from Tennessee.

I have sent emails and contacted them on social media. They respond saying yes, they have them, but when I ask to order them and how they would like payment, I get crickets.

I don’t get it. . If I was a Theoben guy I’d have had these made or made them. I’ve been making seals for most of my guns

. Who has one I can have in hand. A new one. I’ve seen the crows foot front which DOES NOTHING IN REALITY.. I dont get it. .Macarri , never made them.. so if you have these you have Airgun gold ? They were cast molded seals if I recall…. KWK ,YOU HAVE THE TOOLS TOMAKE THESE. , WHY NOT.

I wish I had more time for my airguns and my shop but unfortunately don't. In two more years I will. But for now I have to focus on other things. I have learned some interesting things from another man about machining urethane but don't have time right now to practice.
Susie and I have worked hard to be where we are in our fields and want to finish strong. And maintain our family commitments as well.

Excellent plan Karl, glad to see that in these times of craziness.

Susie was a stay home mother before she started out in her career. Married in 89 and had our first son in 97. Our 3rd son came as a surprise blessing when she was 47! We have catching up to do with our retirement so we can retire comfortably. We made a lot of sacrifice for our family and absolutely no regrets.
If you don't want to raise them don't have them.
Nash is in red in my avatar above. He is 19 now and a mechanical engineering student. We're going to my family farm with a group of his friends tomorrow to swim and fish in the 4 acre pond. Cook out by campfire and run around. Maybe go down to the creek and goof around. Some of the kids will want to shoot an R7 I'm bringing along. They always like that. Probably shoot a Crosman 150. Most kids can hit a soda can or water bottle with it.
Great kids and it's a privilege to hang out with them. They say I don't act like I'm in my 60's. I don't feel like it either.
I enjoy sharing marriage and fatherhood and family tradition with young people as much as anything. If we don't pass along these traditions we won't have gun sports. This is the foundation for what we do. Or there won't be anybody to hand our Theobens off to some day. They won't need any seals anymore
