Just some thoughts rambling around my head late at night as I sit waiting for trailers to be loaded. Lol. Anyway the main question is should there be any concern from Skout owners as to whether they will be around for the foreseeable future? I was thinking has a new airgun company ever before jumped head first into the elite echelon section of the hobby ? Seems a big leap into a small pool. How big of a piece of the overall airgun pie are 2k plus guns ? Are they standing up overseas, where the market is much bigger, to already established competitors? These guys were also smart parts inc awhile back that manufactured high end paintball markers. That company liquidated and sold in 2010. However the shocker pb marker is still made by shocker paintball ( SP)
certainly homage to smart parts. Is this company owned by the same people (Skout )or by whoever bought out smart parts? Why do the sell out if it was really successful? Just sitting here thinking of wether a bunch of spare parts should be purchased now just in case. Sorry for being a Debbie downer and I’m not saying they don’t have a spectacular product as they do. However I’m guessing in a very small niche of a market that doesn’t seem that huge in the U.S. a good product is no guarantee of success and longevity.
