Airgun company Shipping Department disappointment

I’m not sure where I should post this, so move it if it needs to be moved.

So, before I rip the company, I ordered a Huma regulator for the RTI from a well established airgun company. What I got was a bunch of parts individually packaged in small bags. One gauge was missing and two parts weren’t even the right ones. Pictured below are the parts as I received them and a picture of the regulator that I should have received.

Obviously, it is a problem with inventory management and fulfillment. From experience, I can tell that shops deal with thousands of small parts. A good inventory system would have a module for bundles/kits to help. Otherwise, it is a manual process prone to mistakes. In my shop, I have to make tough decisions how to carry a modular item, or even if to carry at all. Not an excuse for this vendor, but rather a comment on complexities in inventory management and fulfillment. Sorry for your troubles.

The company is here in the states and this isn’t my first dealing with them, nor the first bad dealing with them. The bottom picture is how the reg should have been when I received it. The top picture is just a bunch of parts in bags for me to assemble and hope that it is a working reg. I did email them and have not heard back from them yet. We will see what they say. I did let them know that I was, at the least, very disappointed and that they could either send me a return shipping label or the correct parts.

Actually that’s how all the bottle regs I’ve ever ordered from them come. From Kral, Impact MKll to RTI. Parts missing? Now that’s a bummer. I don’t think you are missing a gauge.
Yeah, it is supposed to come with two gauges, one for the bottle pressure and one to replace the fill nipple on the bottom of the rear block to read the reg pressure, at least that’s how it is on the Huma website.

Ok. When I bought one a couple years ago for a RTI, it was one gauge. Getting the stubborn foster out and replacing it with a gauge was my responsibility. Looks like they owe you a gauge. But that’s a good place for a digital. It’s tucked up out of the way. If you do go with a battery digital, make sure you face it so battery changes are easily accessible.
