Gentlest method to wash pellets

I use acetone to wash pellets. Pour them into a plastic container cover w acetone, (nail polish remover), gently swirl and drain off for reuse. Gently lay pellets out in an old towel….acetone evaporates almost immediately . Acetone instantly strips away all oils and allows all lead particles to detach and fall to the bottom of the container. I reuse the acetone a few times.

For what it’s worth, in most cases I expressly do not want gentle. I like to toss and tumble pellets in a wire strainer to help break up loose flashing and diminish the mold parting lines. Doing so has no negative effect to the skirts, even with pellets with thin skirts and soft lead (e.g. JSB 15.9gr .22 cal).

I use a white porcelain bowl with alcohol and swirl gently for 5 minutes . Next i use a white Irish linen rectangle and gently dry the pellets . Next is another white Irish linen with pure bees wax and again gently roll the pellets back and forth till lightly coated . Lastly i clean the inside of the skirt with a Qui tip . Done !
OOPS Wait this is not April 1ST is it , oh well sorry .

First of all wear rubber gloves (harbor freight) do not clean them in the kitchen sink, I use the laundry sink lol. Plastic bucket ( 1 gallon ice cream bucket) with warm water and dawn dish soap then a wall mart strainer and swish it around in the bucket then I rinse them over the same bucket (generally about a third of a tin). To dry I put them on a couple of paper towels for a hour or less depends on temp. in the room after 1/2 hour I move them around some to get excess water out of the inside. Lubing is another topic in great length here LOL everyone has their own opinion so do a search.
Strainers at wall mart for the set are only a few dollars.
I use FP 10 as a lube, 2 drops on the inside of a plastic baggie them move them around with my fingers on the outside.

Sounds like many have a lot of time on their hands? I hit whatever I aim at, I purchase quality ammo.....

I don't even wash my shorts, my wife does that for me. I open up the dresser drawers and it's always full of clean cloths.(y)
Have you ever shot your shorts?
