Shelf storage for air rifles?

Maybe @crowski will chime in. I think he’s one that impressed me with his workshop.

Years ago I put a hidden storage in my bedroom wall...cut out sheetrock lined with thin plywood painted then made a custom mirror mounted on hidden hinges locked with a hidden magnetic lock now it just looks like a mirror on the wall

Ross, that is one beautiful room with awesome gun/accessory storage! Very compact but great use of SPACE!

Walk-in gunrooms are awesome, and I'd love to have one, but I don't even have a basement or an attic here in a California built house. So, I had to just put two large Bighorn safes in my garage side by side. Each holds about 24-30 rifles and some accessories. So far, everything I have fits in there . Though, space becomes more and more scarce with every new purchase .

I am certainly not an expert on gun storage but I've always been taught to never leave guns cased and sealed up for extended periods of time as corrosion seems to alway win over metal especially over time

I've got a big custom made oak gun cabinet that looks like a giant armoire 2 bid doors with mirrors 2 drawers and 2 cabinets with sliding shelves its 7ft tall 7 foot wide and 18inches deep holds 20 rifles

If you dont have alot of room you can do something like this shadow box style

I just made some simple French cleats and can move stuff around anytime.

Damn! Nice setup!!

I just used scrap lumber with 1/2 in dowels. None of them are the same. 2” between holes on slight angle.
I may have to change to vertical rows or move a wall. Getting tight for space. So far this has worked. By alternating them I could get 2 more rifles in a row. Crow

I like Crow 's set up very easy and cheap to build compared to "cabinet type or gun rack vertical , lot of cutouts and sanding set ups .

None so far but the biggest we have had since it was setup is a 6.0. Placing a strong rubber band around the forks of the neck holder would prevent them from going anywhere at all. They can be spaced out or close together at will.
