Well, (down South means be careful a LONG story may be coming, but not the case on this post) I'll really try and help you at least once. Being old school and all and having heard Roz Sumpter say so many times- like right after selling a National championship winning rifle for pennies- "well you've got the be nice to keep the new ones coming back". You may just be "blown away" (that's a air joke eh?) by ALL the advantages airguns provide and NEED everyone you have access to as a start to you new fun!
I wont even hold it against you for phrasing it "real firearms" as no shortage of former powered burners here."Air"guns are Not what you grand daddy had!
Sure no powder (stuff smells bad anyway) and "only" an airgun but 4400fpe -no typo- makes a .308 sound a bit wimpy. Hey and folks DP have "old" collectables, and for good reason. Such fine utility, beauty,..... . Can most really hit a MOA target at at 1,400 yards with anything air or otherwise?(see Huben 24 airgun). Get much real rigger time at 2 cents of less per shot?
So, you have an FWB 800 you might wish to try once (ya once LOL, ever see a tiny group? Like good triggers? Ever had one?) . Now a 1st- or otherwise- post might be have an FWB 800 some gear and some questions. Heck I believe there was a recent post by someone who was in the exact same position you are in. Not the mosted loved 1st post and all. Also believe after he posted a bit asking questions and such (hey and do stay away from picture DUMPS but a picture of the FWB and accessory's you have asking what the heck you might need would be great we love pictures and have knowledge. ) thinking he sold them ALL at once after a few weeks. Personally I would have damn sure kept several of the ones he sold but no matter.
Don't know phones but on a lap top in the upper right corner is a Search box, (and use the drop downs most times). I tried typing "FWB 800" and things came up. I also did an internet search of "FWB 800 PDF" and the 1st link was naturally a forum supporting dealer (aka"PA") which provides you with:
https://www.pyramydair.com/airgun-r...werkbau-Model-800-air-rifle_owners-manual.pdf Nice of them to support the forum so it's free to us. If you whole post was just about your FWB (the common used abbreviation in the airgun world for your rig) I likely could tell ya whatca need.
Now the amount of 1st hand information Everyone here has (and sure filter out some duff but overall) is staggering. I've been using all manner of pre-charged airguns (aka pcp's) since the late 80's and still learn stuff. Take advantage of that. You may well learn something you have access to you WANT for yourself!
Well, I promised short so.
Try a real airgun! You just might like it!
Looking forward to some of those there "quality" (and there are no dumb questions in airguns with new folks) posts of yours.
John
