Airgun Technologies Uragan2 Q

There's only 4 inches difference between the two... In my mind that doesn't matter much (size wise), you may feel different. The Vulcan3 would be a different story (to me anyway) as there is approx. 8 inches of difference between the 500mm & 700mm versions.

Regardless, they are a large bulky looking rifle. I like mine, a 25 caliber 700mm.

These pictures from TalonTunes should give you an idea, you might give him a call or email and see what he says.

The 700 will give you more efficiency of the air. If you were talking pellets, 600mm would do it no problem. But with slugs you might not get to choose the exact weight slug the rifle likes. The 600 has to work harder and will result in more turbulent air leaving with the slug. Nothing like a 500mm, but when you go slug it stresses the rifle more.
I like shooting rifles that are in a nice comfortable zone and not being pushed hard.

I had a vulcan 3 with the depinger + another rubber bushing on the tube.. and if you are shooting in a quiet place .. the ping is the most annoying thing I have had in a gun I simply hate it.. so much that I sold the gun cheaper just to have it out .. n I simply would never buy another vulcan..especially if they continue to use such thin barrels.. I have a few friends with vulcan 3 all have sold them. Because they can't stand the ping right in you ear .. they are good rifles bu by no means I would consider the vulcan 3 a Marvel.. mine was a 500mm and it would not group at 90y no matter what I use or speed i use it simply suck .. the same for the 2 uragan 1 in .25 the worse 2 - 25 cal guns I have ever purchased poi was so bad that it changed .every time a different scope was used.. I kept the other 3 -.177 .22 .30 those shots flawless after some work..

I have a 700 mm in .30 Cal, another 700 mm in .25 and a 500 mm in .177.

In my self scale, they are rated as among the must accurate and also the must reliable. The .177 with a moderator is extremely quiet.

The .30 Cal has gave me a wild turkey and a white tailed deer.

The .25 and the .177 have gave me birds at 190 yards.

They are quiet guns especially with a moderator that is why the ping or twank in the ear is absolutely annoying..more annoying that a bulldog ping.. but at least the bulldog is a power house so is understandable.. but my 308 bulldog with a depinger at 265fpe was completely quiet to my ear.. the ping obviously..because the shot was loud.
