This may not be the answer your looking for as I have no idea what or how the internals of the Pro X work
...However having one and working with this platform for over a year and a half, additionally, I don't think there are a heck of a lot of Pro X's around, I can in good faith make the following observations about the Pro X, at least about the one I have. If there ever was an airgun platform that was "NOT" to be tinkerer with, the Pro X would be it. With a 200b fill pressure I'm getting like 70+ shots at 29+ fpe=853fps with JSB 18s. The hammer spring adjustment functions properly in a VERY narrow range of adjustment as does the barrel mag gap...I know cause I've been all over the place with mine...the MAGs must be loaded consistently the same way and as is the case with many of my guns it likes a clean barrel for gilt-edge accuracy...to my standard anyway. None of these features were difficult or problematic, just a normal familiarization with a new platform...no better or worse than any other airguns I've worked with. My Pro X is outrageously accurate...reliable, no jams, consistent...and fun to shoot...Note this recent group I shot at 30y off the attached bipod after sitting for some weeks...First 10 shots from a clean barrel. Where I come from I call that good...Again 29fpe...Repeatable...Why in the world would I rip into the guts...(reg) of a gun that is working this well...To try to improve it??? If ever a problem arises with this Pro X a qualified Steyr facility is gunna' work on mine. These things are built like a Swiss watch and I'm optimistic about
