If you've been following the GK1 threads you know how great this pistol can and has been in both .22 and .25, what are your thoughts on the new coming .177? I'm considering getting one.
Just the link, but it doesn't really say much. The power figures have always be shown as less than what truly are capable of.That'll be interesting. Do you have a link to any information on this one?
Ohmagerd!Just the link, but it doesn't really say much. The power figures have always be shown as less than what truly are capable of.

Well, Huben doesn't make anything in thirty caliber.I have seen elsewhere, that in their pistol .177 is the exact same shot count as .22 - .25 and .30, which is a crying shame CUZ a HUGE shot count is just about the one thing that would attract me to a SA pistol or rifel
So i hope Huben do not do that.
Well it's supposed to be a 19 shot magazine just like the .22. And out of my .22 I was able to push a 33.33gr slugs at 978fps. I've also taken iguanas at 73rds with the one I had, and sub moa accuracy at 50 yds was not hard at allYeah of course magazine capacity do not matter if there are not enough air pressure to drive the fun.
In a pistol i would be OK with moderate smacking power to have more shots in what is after all small air tanks on pistols.
I was thinking of the Leshys which i think come in .30, but anyway it was just a example of systems that have the same magazine capacity regardless of caliber.
.177 aside for that is what i am locked to by my rulers, it allowing for a lot / more of them in a given magazine size is what would make them interesting for me.
And i prefer single shot tray.
But ! i might pick up a rifle / pistol if it was SA, for the " spray " capability alone, of course i would also expect at least a degree of accuracy.
A pistol shooting 10 grain slugs or 13 grain pellets, that would be just fine for me.
And i would be OK with having to refill after emptying a big magazine.
If you manage to put a regulator on these , they will lose a lot of shot count and a lot of power. Although it is not regulated , it shoots as if were regulated.O that's more power than i get out of my rifle with 16 or 20 grain slugs at their optimal speeds.
Indeed cool but i assume for .177 the GK1 would have to be tuned down a lot to not be supersonic, but that would be very nice for shot count then, maybe you could even put a regulator in it ( unsure if one of those could refill fast enough at least for " spirited " SA action )
On a pistol i would be fine with 25 M accuracy as i would be using a red dot so you cant really expect more than that i think.
19 shots aint bad, the 21 in my Maverick magazine when i rarely use that is more than enough.
I do dislike the 8 shot magazine in my old Cyclone, lucky i have 3 or 4 of those.
It would be nice if they came out with a pellet barrel and a dedicated pb twist barrelGk1 .177 with 16-20g slugs at 40fpe and even just 40shots would amazing.
Hope you don’t change your mind, they won’t give your money backNew England Airguns has pre order going on for gk1 .177 in October I already put $100 down.
Got no reason to change my mind. I'll outfit it like my GK 1 .22. with what's on my .25. Then see if I can do a .25 shorty pistol. Then work on selling off what extra pcps hanging round the house lol.Hope you don’t change your mind, they won’t give your money back
