Skout Skout owners, Does POI change when degassing rifle?

I’m getting ready to get a new EVO and I am going to use it for pesting raccoons on occasion. When you degas the rifle after using it, does it change POI when you gas it up again? I’ll typically wake up in the middle of the night when these raccoons show up and I need the rifle dead on when turning the bottle valve on. Raccoons require a perfect head shot and a changing POI rifle isn’t good.

I had a nightmare scenario happen with a FX one time and don’t want that happening again.

I degass after every session for the day ...in truth, my least favorite part about the rifle. Always a risk of clipping that little oring. And make sure you take the extra shots once the rifle is degassed to fully relieve all the pressures within the rifle.
@Hottdogghands ..there is a feature on the rifle's called "Valve Stick" ..what this does is add a slight amount of time extra for the valve to stay open. This is compensate for any 1st shot drop. It is a feature that i have not had any tinkering in, so i do not have much knowledge, but i would guess that if your shot is dropping on 1st shot, boost up the number a few milliseconds and note the change. Like i said, i have not done this, but seems like an easy process, but may take a little time going through the settings

That dreaded low first shot is a no no for hunting. Would be sweet to see someone put that feature to the test.

This is from the Epoch manual:

So you can leave it gassed up overnight?
Yea. Just leave it pressurized unless you're storing it for a really long time. If you're really worried about it, just shoot it every week or so even if it's just a few dry fires. But I honestly don't see the necessity to do even that. With my gun, not the same as yours by the way, I store it 30 to 40 bars above regulator pressure. It's not so high that I constantly worry about the regulator keeping back a ton of pressure when I don't use the gun (for weeks and sometimes even months at a time), but still give me a decent amount of shots (15 to 25 shots on the reg) because just like your gun, my gun is also a standby varmint rifle.
