Well u asked: with the added costs, why someone wouldnt just buy the k1, which is kinda a stupid question because i think its pretty clear what is the advantage here but i still answered you: because the k1 cannot be turned into a short pistol in 2 seconds like the gk1 with this setup. now u came back with another pretty stupid question since everyone knows how the gk1 was originally designed.. but i will answer it : as a semi auto pcp pistol?

No technical expertise, but its great to see these pistol/carbines, mini carbines coming out. They look to be very capable, am loving the trend to smaller, ass kickers…

The setup I finally found that I'm happy with. Not the fanciest but it gets the job done. I was going to put some type of scope on it but I have rifles and a regular .25 K1 for range. This is my little carry around gun for the woods and stuff like that. I have the laser on it set for 20 yards or less.

Just a few small revisions for machinability and then this will start getting cut!
Please excuse the prototype print quality as I was going for speed, not finished product, so revisions could be made and test fitted.
This, along with some other new things will be coming in the near future.
Haven't decided on a name yet either...I just refer to it as a mini carbine backpacker, but that's a little wordy. It's the GK1 MC-BP kit

Thanks! From what I know the Ataman kit also required some decent modification to fit the GK1. Definitely not drop on ready.
Have some other stuff cooking, so stay tuned

You make great products. Now the GK1 just needs a 4" longer barrel and adapter with threads made. This will get the pfe up for at least a the full magazine of shots., instead of just a few shots with a downward string of power...
