Tuxing double cylinder oil question

The breather should a knob to release the water, how often are you opening and allowing both to drain?

I meant the crank case breather I'm thinking mostuire is getting in there then the crank case making the oil turn white. I wonder if I put desicant beads into the crank case breather if that would solve the issue

Being that the compressor Heats up while running it's highly unlikely that you're getting moisture from the Crank Case Breather, it only vents air as the crankcase heats up so you don't have a pressurized crankcase.

First find out if it's air or water, then we can track down the source. When you fill the oil in the sight glass it's at the top middle of the window, correct?

Drain the oil you have in there now, you might want to take off the cover to get any contaminates out. Refill with Fresh Clean oil, but check it first to make sure it isn't contaminated in the first place. Fill to the correct level and run it, without building pressure and see if it turns white. stop it and allow it to cool. Once cool run it again and dead head it to build up the pressure watch to see if it turns white, this will mean you are leaking water into the crankcase while under pressure.

I have 2 Tuxing twin cylinder compressors and i have used this oil since Jan 15 with no complaints. Once you decide what oil you're going to use the next thing is keeping the compressor cooler instead of a bucket i use a 5gal drink cooler 1/2 filled with water and the rest with blocks of ice made ahead of time and i don't let the temp get over 135- 140.

Yeah I did that already drained it and put fresh oil In and did the dead head the oil stayed clear just Like it comes out the bottle but when I went to fill a tank it turns white

I would be surprised if humidity were the cause. I reside in New York State, and for the past two weeks, we've experienced 80 to 95 percent humidity, yet the oil remains clear.
The humidity is 100% here I called Joe brancato at top airguns and he basically said it's Chinese and it is what it is the crank case is just gonna be like that

When I fill it with oil I fill just under the top of the red dot

Yeah at first I used to use pureguard sae 30 air compressor oil which isn't synthetic then I switched to the husky 100% synthetic air compressor oil

Should of finished up you statement with " each oil did the same or this started after I went full synthetic..".

If the issue started with the synthetic use ..I wonder if the residue from the first oil is not compatible or reacting to the different oil ..

I can't see condensation building up that fast . Maybe after a few good uses . Then too many folks live in far more hot humid areas that run these apparently without issue.

You know .. for fun you could go to Amazon q&a on this unit and ask there and see if the tuxing guy answers . Use the unit sold from tuxing store ..

Only thing else is the cooling water getting in from a bad gasket/ seal or crack/ pinhole in the casting of the casings ...

I also try the high pressure oils for these instead of the household/ shop compressor stuff.

I'm probably gonna just keep running it like that I noticed it cleared up a little bit

Hello, I have a tuxing double cylinder and the oil looks white there's no water in the oil no water leaks anywhere I'm using husky 100% full synthetic air compressor oil. The oil is very clear when it comes out the bottle and stays clear when I run the compressor under no load but when I go to fill a tank or gun it changes to this white color.

To me the picture looks like the oil is whitish and an air bubble at the top of the sight window . could it be air mixed in the oil ? causing the whitish look ?
MY opinion is what ever is the cause it is not letting the oil do its job to the proper extent .

Ya, sadly so many threads on this oil issue and not one real solid answer. A lot of answers all over the place to throw darts at ..
True. I'm thinking it's either air or Mostuire. I let the compressor sit for a little bit and the oil cleared up a little bit just a little bit it's still white though

maybe drain the oil into a glass jar so we can actually see the oil ? I sure would not keep using it .
