Taipan Taipan Veteran II owners

Now that some of you have had this gun for a while. What have you tuned it to shoot well.
Round and speed?
Mine is 25cal 700mm
I have a Taipan Veteran 2 tactical in 25 cal and I'm shooting the new Zans .250 33 grain slugs very well. The average velocity is 936 with a SD of 2. The accuracy is great as I've shot prairie dogs and starlings out to 115 yards so far.

.25 cal. Very hard hitting and accurate, I love this AirRifle!!

I just picked up a Taipan Veteran Long to complement the Vet Compact I have. I value the anti-double feed feature more than a side lever, personally.
I'm kind of on the fence... I really really like the anti-double feed feature of the Veteran, But the only bullpup that I've had with forward cocking (an AGT Vulcan2) made me appreciate forward cocking a lot... the Speed and comfort of cocking and much less movement to spook game when hunting.

I wonder how the Taipan 2 Veteran compares with the Kalibrgun Cricket 2 , abour accuracy , consistency ....?
Having a vet 2 tactical 700mm barrel for long enough to have shot a few 12-15 mags of pellets through it I can say it’s accurate, powerful, and simple.

For me I wanted a cricket 2 initially, but someone brought up the taipans specifically because their trigger was a little better. They both had very similar reputations for accuracy, robust build, and reliability/repeatability. So I decided to buy a taipan first.

Here in 2-3 years I’ll pick up a kalibrgun, so I won’t know “who’s better” til then.

I received my new vet too from balistas about 3 weeks ago. I got it in 22. Experimenting with slugs and pellets and think it's a great platform. I'm going to do a few of the local field target matches in 0.22 and report back. It's easy to dial it down to 20 ft pounds using 13 grain JSBs.
Try a tin of AEA pellets....I have the 700mm 25cal...it loves the JSB KO slugs and the AEA pellets....100 yards group....
